The hotel is terrible. Because of the typhoon, we couldn't go to the island. After many communications, the hotel refused to refund. I will never book this hotel again. It's rubbish.

Set in a beautiful garden setting on high ground overlooking sea. Old colonial style architecture. Rooms are basic but have no kettle in the room. Toiletries, mosquito nets, excellent WiFi. Lovely staff. Great big breakfast and excellent coffee. No pool. Beach is long way downhill surrounded by mangrove. Need to walk some distance Shops and main road for transport nearby. Airport 4 kilometres, a Taxis costs 20000 Tsh. The number 506 dala dala goes into Stone Town from Mimi cafe.. Would definitely stay again

Zum 2.Mal und wieder alles wie bekannt. Ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Terrasse und einem sensationellen Ausblick auf eine wunderschön gepflegte Anlage. Unser Butler "Sigi" (Sigfried) hat uns gut betreut - Danke noch einmal dafür! Hinsichtlich der Suite mit schönem Sitzbereich innen und einem großen Bad mit Dusche (ohne Abtrennung - Spritzer und Wasser im Umfeld unvermeidbar), freistehender Badewanne, Doppelwaschtisch und getrennter Toilette. Gänzlich fehlender Steckdosen im Bad, damit kein Fön einsetzbar. Nach Reklamation wurde uns ein Verlängerungskabel vom Schlafbereich ins Bad gelegt - Stolperfalle und kaum die Möglichkeit die Türe zum Bad zu schließen. Hier könnte für dieses Luxus-Ressort einmal Abhilfe geschaffen werden. Ergänzend wäre ein Moskito-Netz über dem Bett (analog Arusha Coffee Lodge) sinnvoll, da wir gegen das Versprühen von Gift im gesamten Raum sind und der Eigenschutz auch nicht so optimal geholfen hat.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Manor House ! It's a beautiful place, very clean, very quiet, where it's good to relax ! The staff is adorable, very welcoming and caring. There is no dinner offered in the evening, but it is possible to order at a nearby restaurant and have it delivered ! We recommend because we had a great time. In addition, for the same quality, we paid almost two times less than in other hotels.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits à l'hôtel. La chambre est très primaire, pas de rangements, pas de décoration. Par contre, un personnel souriant, toujours disponible et aux petits soins, un restaurant peu cher et bon et enfin une vue à couper le souffle lors du coucher de soleil... je recommande 👍🏼
