In June of this year, I booked a bungalow at this resort for a trip to take place in May of 2025, and I paid a deposit. Unfortunately our plans changed, and on September 5, 2024, I canceled our reservation on line. To be on the safe side, that same day I emailed the resort and told them I had to cancel. It has been almost two months, and I have still not received a refund! I have emailed again but gotten no results. Beware!

Melony gave the best message I ever had. Perfect amount of pressure and worked out all the kinks. She went over allotted time to ensure she relieved all my tension spots. Excellent Very, very reasonable price. Spa was clean, not super fancy but the individual room was super comfortable, air conditioned, great smell and candle lit. Highly recommend

We stayed in a 2-bedroom condo for one night on our way home from Utila . Short walk across the street from the property to our condo. Safe with a guard stationed at the entrance. Everything in the condo was clean, but a bit aged. Linens were fresh and beds very comfy. Soap, shampoo, conditioner all provided. Air conditioners couldn't cool below 75 degrees, but the overhead fan helped. Greeted with a free, HUGE and delish alcoholic punch. Dinner (additional cost) and the included breakfast at Celeste's were both good and filling. About a 5-minute walk to the busy beach where you can find numerous outfitters.

We enjoyed our stay here for multiple reasons. It is surrounded by beautiful grounds, so even on the days where it rained and we were somewhat confined to our porch sitting area, it was still better than being at home. The staff were among the best we have ever encountered and went over and beyond in taking care of us. Management- owner Celeste and manager Lorelie- do a great job. Plus a special shout out to Rou, Lily, Bonnie. and Clyde,

This place is paradise. It has the jungle feel but is only a quick walk to the beach. The rooms are comfortable and the staff and owner are incredibly accommodating. The breakfasts are delicious and there is a restaurant at the front of the lodge. I was in bungalow 6 and it’s amazing. The pool is also really nice and being retiled. They offer free airport transfers if you are staying more than 5 nights which is a huge bonus. There is also shopping, groceries and plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

Our stay at the West Bay Lodge and Spa was amazing and we plan to return. From the guest service staff to our bungalow accommodations to the food at the new restaurant, Kristi's - it was all awesome. Great first-time Roatan experience! Thank you all for making it a special trip for us! We'll be back.

I will start by saying that was one of the best trips we have had as a family. Looking at the pictures doesn’t do this resort justice, we saw many more updated and fancy hotels but I would choose this ever time. It feels like it’s your home while there. The entire staff is above and beyond the kindness, the way they had your room spotless after a day at the beach, cooling down in the small relaxing pool, anything we needed we just asked rides, questions on eating , I will def be back, with friends and family. The resturaunt is Kristi’s attached to the resort just opened the owners felt like friends we chatted with Dailey, the food was amazing , they provided the breakfast included with your stay it was freshly cooked , had amazing flavor they had fresh Watermelon juice my son loved! I’m looking fow to coming back!

We went to the adult pool at west bay lounge on a Saturday afternoon. There was a DJ which I was excited for, but honestly this was not a good DJ. The music wasn’t very popular and no one seemed to dance along with it. Usually a DJ gets the crowd hyped and brings good energy. I would have much more enjoyed the pool without the DJ. I would have rated 5 stars if there was no DJ!

Our second visit to West Bay Lodge, and definitely not our last. From check-in to check-out, this is one of our favorite places and it's just so "easy". Upon being picked up at the airport, we made a quick stop to the supermarket in order to grab food and supplies for our bungalow. When we arrived, we had the famous rum punch awaiting. Our bungalow was just as expected - not fancy, but quite cozy, comfortable and well-equipped - our home-away-from-home. The grounds are clean, safe, and the greenery allows for some privacy between bungalows. The pool area is so pretty. Breakfast is a delight! Melony and Celeste were constantly checking on us. The location is a quick walk to the stunning beach, where chairs can be rented from BananaRama. Along the walk, there is a little alcove with a couple of restaurants, a small pharmacy, a coffee shop, and an ice cream shop. We had three children with us and they had a great time! Celeste put them to work making food for the animals on site and had them sorting donations for the local schools. They loved the table and swings, which turned out to be their group "meeting spot". We felt completely safe letting them flit between the bungalows for our travel party. I can't wait to get back!
