I was a solo traveller who stayed in the villa in early December 2023, an off-peak season. Room was clean, warm and comfortable. The Villa owners, Mr Deng and Mr Miao were friendly and very helpful. They offered a free to & fro ride to Mount Siguniang on one of their business trips during my stay. Even the staff were friendly and helpful too.
The Villa is a great location for anyone who wants to stay opposite 卧龙大熊猫苑神树坪基地. It would be more convenient to drive there though.

The room was very nice, clean and hygienic! I ate the ******* pork bacon they made themselves, which tasted good, highly recommended! I also saw the koi making a wish! It is said that there is a newly built homestay, I will definitely come and stay next time when I have time!

The first unexpected surprise in Wenchuan.
When I was short of money to book a room, I booked a standard room and insisted that I booked a double bed room. Sister Zhang, who was helping me check in at the front desk, saw my embarrassment and didn't criticize me for my damn quibble. We were upgraded to a suite. The room is comparable to a resort hotel~it has ethnic characteristics and is clean and tidy.
Knowing that we were coming from out of town, he enthusiastically introduced that now is a good time to see the red leaves and the ski resort that was to be opened in Wenchuan. I also put small gifts in the original room. In short, the main focus is thoughtfulness and enthusiasm.
Parking is free at the hotel, remember to get a parking card after checking out. In addition, the barbecue restaurant downstairs of the hotel is also very delicious.
I sincerely wish everything is well in Wenchuan.

Hygiene: The toilet bowl was not flushed clean, which was really speechless. There were stains on the toilet seat, a pile of hair on the chair was not cleaned, and there were spider webs in the room.
The environment is really good. It is right next to the mountain and the stream is quite turbulent.
The service is okay. The girl at the front desk can still remember which room you stayed in the next day.
The facilities and style are understandable, but when the faucet in the shower room is turned on, water comes out from three sides. It should not be designed, right? The hot and cold water is not stable. Although it is cool, there is no ventilation equipment. There is not even a ventilation fan in the toilet. If you close the window when sleeping at night, it is very stuffy. Locals may be used to it, but outsiders say they can't adapt to it.

To be honest, it is not recommended to stay here if you are traveling alone in the off-season. You can stay in the town, so that it is more convenient to eat. However, if you go to see the giant pandas with your family during the peak season of summer vacation, it is recommended to stay in this inn. The inn is about 200 meters away from the entrance of the panda center. You can park your car at the door of the inn and walk there. First, there are not many parking spaces at the entrance of the giant panda center during the peak season. Second, there is a parking fee of 10 yuan. Third, the giant pandas are active in the morning, and they are all sleeping soundly if you go late. The room facilities are simple, and the toilet is a squat toilet, which is not friendly to the elderly. There are no bath towels, toiletries and kettles, which need to be taken downstairs. There is no air conditioning, but there are heaters and electric blankets. The boss is very polite and has a good attitude. Because I wear less, the boss lent me clothes and enthusiastically told me how to exchange tickets. A simple Chinese breakfast, steamed buns, white porridge, eggs, and two cold dishes can fill you up. However, there are areas where the inn needs to be improved. Things are placed in a mess, and the name of the inn cannot be seen. Fortunately, Gaode Navigation came to find it. Although the boss is a good person, he always looks at a loss. Based on the above, I still give a good review. After all, it is not easy to have such an inn in a small town like Gengda! There are places to eat 2 kilometers away. You can drive down. It is not recommended to walk. It is not easy to go downhill or uphill. The place to exchange tickets is about 1 kilometer away from the entrance of the Giant Panda Garden. Just after turning in from Xingfugou, on the way up, you will see a light blue sign on the right with a few big words ”Ticket Office” on it. Turn into the parking lot. This parking lot is free. After buying and exchanging the ticket, continue to drive to the end of the top. There is a parking lot on the left. If it is full, turn right and drive up along the road. There is a larger parking lot on it. The parking fee is 10 yuan. Warm reminder: It seems that you can only exchange tickets on the same day. If you buy a ticket for the next day online, you have to exchange it the next day. If you come from Chengdu by direct bus, buy a 20-yuan scenic spot transportation bus. Don't go. It's far and uphill. As for whether to exchange tickets, it depends on the platform (APP) where you buy tickets. Anyway, Qunar.com called me and told me to exchange tickets.
