The Resort features 157 deluxe accommodations in a mountain ambiance. Our rooms are spacious with modern decor. The golf course features a 27-hole course that was first designed in 1928 and is to be named as Oregon’s first golf resort. The Resort’s Nature Concierge provides personalized service to every guest or group who wishes to maximize their recreational experience and adventuresome spirit on Resort grounds or throughout the Mt. Hood region. The Resort also operates a boutique spa with treatments of massages, facials, body exfoliations, body wraps, manicures and pedicures.
The property features two full-service dining experiences. The first is our golf course pub, Mallards Cafe Pub, which offers stunning mountain views directly from the bar. Our fine dining outlet, Altitude, offers a formal dining environment with a more sophisticated menu. Room could not have been nicer. Hot tub was great. Front desk staff super helpful as was maintenance with a minor TV problem. Dinner and bar not so good, but great restaurant a mile away. Complimentary continental breakfast was very ordinary.

Loved this hotel! Stayed in a ground floor room with a terrace overlooking the grounds to the pool. Huge room with all the amenities, including my very own over- sized bathrobe to wear to the pool. Spent one afternoon at the pool relaxing and enjoying the trees,landscaping, and jacuzzi. Staff worked hard to be helpful. It was not crowded during the week. Like a private retreat!

I did not stay. I checked in, got to my room, then promptly booked another hotel. I was charged for that night, but was refunded the second night. Best Western should be ashamed of this hotel. The pictures on the website are very misleading. The room I checked into was dark and dusty. It didn’t even have a coffee table. The chair in the bedroom was fake leather and totally trashed. It had a kitchenette without supplies, it had a full size coffee pot with a single cup pod for coffee. Both tvs in the suite had exposed wires and cable boxes. The exterior is very shabby and dark. There is even a sign not to leave valuables in car. That instantly tells me to worry about crime.

The room was dark and unappealing. Needs some serious updating. Upstairs guests sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. AC too loud to run…room was stuffy.

The hotel is beautiful despite being remodeled. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and if one golfs, the place is just gorgeous! It's great now, and we expect it to be even better after the work is done.

We were wanting a relaxing location to celebrate. The fireplace room was clean and roomy. Food was excellent and we enjoyed the outdoor pool and hottub. We will definitely stay here again. We also enjoyed taking an evening walk on the lighted paths.

This was one of the worst experiences at a hotel I’ve ever had. The staff weren’t helpful, our room was not clean, no one came to clean our room, the room was infested with ants, the air conditioner was broken and was missing buttons so we couldn’t control it, the coffee machine was extremely extremely dirty, and the THE BED HAD SOO MANY DISGUSTING STAINS ON IT. The bed needs to be thrown out or at the least cleaned. There were ants everywhere; in the bathroom, crawling on our bed. No one picked up the phone to help. Absolutely horrendous. No one came to clean our room or replace the towels. When we called, no one helped us. For what we paid over $500 for 2 night, I expect Basic hotel service at the least. I have pictures of all of these things. They call this place a “resort,” however, it more like a dirty basement. Stay away from this place!

The sunrise king suits are out dated and likely not even up to code. Missing electrical outlet covers. Mismatched furniture, small bathroom, missing deck boards. Suits are off main property far from pool and other amenities. Had to go to the front desk to get towels and ice. We arrived late, four people. There was one blanket, one pillow and towels for one. Bed was older and worn in. Staff was friendly.

Everything with our stay went great besides the power going out for a few hours. This made it difficult to feed our baby a bottle. And our toddler was scared of how dark it was. But besides that everything was nice and we were close to the snow bunny slops and went sledding all day - the reason we came.
