Anodawa Boutique Villa

Truly amazing stay. We were a group of 6 adults and 2 children and stayed here during Sinhala new year..The house is set among lush tropical vegetation in a large estate.The staff gave us a guided tour and it was amazing to see how well numerous fruit and vegetables were grown organically. Most of our food was sourced from here. All meals were tasty,well presented and ample..chef was flexible to go off menu as well.. The entire house is fully air conditioned,tastefully decorated and immaculately kept. The staff made sure we had everything that was needed during our stay including arranging a traditional Sinhala new year celebration with all the traditional sweets to partake at the auspicious time. The children enjoyed playing in the large garden and there are games like darts ,archery and badminton, just to name a few.. We visited Mulgirigala,a rock temple spread over multiple levels..This has lovely ancient paintings,a must visit. The swimming pool is very clean and beautifully set among trees. Our thanks to staff for a memorable stay,especially the young man who did butler duties.

This villa is amazing! We had and excellent time with family and friends. The place is clean, tidy and very comfortable. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. great outdoors to walk and a good size pool.

Highly recommended this villa for a relaxed stay with your family and friends. Their super delicious food is a main highlight during our stay as they have their own grown organic vegetables. Staff was very friendly and they made our stay really comfortable . No one will ever get bored in this 10 acre land as they have the facilities to do all these activities such as badminton, dartboard, archery, swimming, bike rides , buggy rides , swings and many more

I had the honor to be accomodated by Anodawa Boutique Villa for 5 days during my stay in beautiful Sri Lanka last month. Once the gate opened and I got my first glimpse of the impressive villa, it felt like timetravelling to another era. An era of old chic, an era of true Ceylonian beauty. The big hall with the dining table is compared to nothing what I have ever seen before, an exquisite expression of taste. I was in the Ranawara Premier Suite which comes with a king size bed, a dressing room, a huge living room and a luxurious bath room. I felt very comfortable and instantly at peace. My butler Chanaka was making sure I was being comforted with all my needs during the days I stayed there. I was offered different varieties of food of my choice, mostly Sri Lankan, which was prepared to my absolute satisfaction by the Chef. Anodawa Boutique Villa is surrounded by beautiful nature with a huge garden with a lot of palm trees and many animals. My days started and ended with long walks and meditation in the garden, experiencing the sound of silence and the sound of nature. I miss these walks already. I was able to make some unforgettable trips to the temples nearby, eg Mulkirigala Rock Temple and Kasagala which were very impressive and I would absolutely recommend these trips if you are staying here. Soon Anodawa will offer authentic Ayurveda treatments with famous Doctor Upul Rajapaksha, which is my personal Ayurveda doctor and well known to me for many years. I cannot imagine a better place for Ayurveda than Anodawa Boutique Villa, if I am in the Tangalle area, esp. with this Doctor and team, which is one of the best Ayurvedic teams in Sri Lanka. We had a great weekend at Anodawa and enjoyed every second of the holiday. The villa was specious and decorated nicely. Bedding was comfortable. Food was the highlight of the weekend as each dish was made to perfection. Thank you to the staff and we will definitely come back again.

Wow! What a beautiful , peaceful stay I have had here at Anodawa villa. Everything is just impeccable- the food (which mostly Comes from their organic veggie garden) was delicious and honestly the best food I have tried here in Sri Lanka. The villa itself is stunning and the rooms are luxury, spacious and perfect to spend your days here. The staff are wonderful people who take their job and responsibility very seriously taking care of you and your needs with the upmost respect and care. It was really an honour to be around these lovely People. The sounds of nature and the Animals captivated me. If you’re looking for a slice of heaven mixed with a peaceful holiday whilst your every need is taken care of - come here. You won’t regret it.
