The Yellow House Bed and Breakfast is a delightful place to stay for one night or several. The rooms are beautiful, beds comfortable, and everything is clean. Chad, one of the owners, is always ready to help in any way he can. And the breakfasts are delicious!

We loved staying here. Chad greeted us warmly and showed us around. The room was well furnished and clean. The fireplace was easy to use and kept the room toasty. We ordered a bottle of wine which was presented nicely with some cookies and a handwritten note. Breakfast was 3 course, including yogurt parfait, baked eggs, sausage, and greens.

This was our second stay at the Yellow House, and it was just perfect! We stayed in the beautiful Vineyard Suite and loved every second of our time there. The inn keepers are amazing. The house is gorgeous. The breakfast and snacks each day were scrumptious. This is our favorite getaway place!

The perfect hue of yellow attracts the eye and exudes the positive power of hospitality to soothe minds and warm souls. Upon our arrival at The Yellow House, it was love at first sight. The most charming nineteenth century Victorian home on the hill would be our respite from the devastation of Hurricane Helene on our beloved city of Asheville, NC. While we were evacuating the city to find shelter with the basic essentials of water, power, and safety, God knew we needed the healing essentials of hope, kindness and hospitality that Chad and Josh provide for their guests. Needless to say, it was a heavenly discovery that exceeded our expectations at every level of exceptional care and personalized customer service. Our Australian Labradoodle, JD, approved of our pet-friendly accommodations and was equally happy to share our spacious Cottage Suite by the pond. The beauty of the property wrapped us in perfect peace and serenity. The most thoughtful attention to amenities, both great and small, met our every need for comfort, cleanliness, and special touches such as amazing linens, lush towels and the most delicious homemade treats delivered daily with a personalized note to enjoy our day and stay at The Yellow House. The Yellow House reflects the owners' excellent taste, sense of style, expert professionalism and giftedness for creating a "Home Away From Home" experience for their guests. How do you measure the quality of an extraordinary B&B? Based on my observations of guests at breakfast every morning, I would say their compliments to the chef for the delicious three-course menu, their happy smiles, lively conversations and appreciation for the historic ambience of The Yellow House deserves the highest rating and is evidence of their status as the Best of Haywood Winner 2024 B&B. Thank you, Chad and Josh! Your compassion and optimism turned our hurricane fatigue and sadness into hope, joy and gratitude for your amazing hospitality.

Our stay at The Yellow House could not have been nicer. Chad and Josh accommodated our every need quickly and graciously. The rooms were exactly as described, spotless, organized, and comfortable. The breakfast was unique and delicious. We were welcomed early in order to accommodate a request to watch a football game in its entirety and even got help finding the right TV station. We have already booked our next stay. Highest possible recommendation.

When I first saw the beautiful yellow house on top of the hill with its long front porch and rocking chairs, I felt excited. Was it as pretty on the inside as it was on the outside? Yes! When I eagerly opened the side door, I was immediately greeted by the delicious aroma of baking sweets and a charming man named Chad who greeted us as though we were already his favorite guests. I wandered around trying to take everything in - the colorful and tasteful fall décor, the gorgeous and cozy library, the huge bedroom with a wide bank of windows and a fireplace and – the mountain views! This place had everything we could ever want. Chad explained how everything worked and he showed us where the snacks were. There was so much attention to detail. So many added touches. Such personal service. (Chad was always available on the property.) We came in search of a quiet, peaceful retreat and we got it. This is what a traditional bed and breakfast should look like and be like. It was superb in every way.

Had a great stay at The Yellow House. House and rooms are nicer than the pictures. Just a beautiful place with a great host. We will stay there again when we return to the area. I know the area was hit hard by Hurricane Helene and we wish them them the best in their recovery. The Inn lost power at the main house for a few days but the Pond House remained fully functional.

Welcoming interiors, impeccably decorated to reflect the period of the house. Large wrap around porch looking out over the forested 2acres surrounding the house. Many common areas to hang out in including a library and den with a TV. Beautiful dining room with China cabinet. Rooms are spread out, luxury linens. Our suite had fireplace, sitting area, wet bar, bath with delightful jacuzzi tub. We ordered a charcuterie board and bottle of wine which was waiting in our room. Butlers pantry is stocked for guests with snacks, waters, coffee/tea, sodas. Breakfast was amazing, hot and fresh, beautiful presentation, and delicious. Can’t wait to return when we travel that way.
