The perfect hue of yellow attracts the eye and exudes the positive power of hospitality to soothe minds and warm souls. Upon our arrival at The Yellow House, it was love at first sight. The most charming nineteenth century Victorian home on the hill would be our respite from the devastation of Hurricane Helene on our beloved city of Asheville, NC. While we were evacuating the city to find shelter with the basic essentials of water, power, and safety, God knew we needed the healing essentials of hope, kindness and hospitality that Chad and Josh provide for their guests. Needless to say, it was a heavenly discovery that exceeded our expectations at every level of exceptional care and personalized customer service. Our Australian Labradoodle, JD, approved of our pet-friendly accommodations and was equally happy to share our spacious Cottage Suite by the pond. The beauty of the property wrapped us in perfect peace and serenity. The most thoughtful attention to amenities, both great and small, met our every need for comfort, cleanliness, and special touches such as amazing linens, lush towels and the most delicious homemade treats delivered daily with a personalized note to enjoy our day and stay at The Yellow House. The Yellow House reflects the owners' excellent taste, sense of style, expert professionalism and giftedness for creating a "Home Away From Home" experience for their guests. How do you measure the quality of an extraordinary B&B? Based on my observations of guests at breakfast every morning, I would say their compliments to the chef for the delicious three-course menu, their happy smiles, lively conversations and appreciation for the historic ambience of The Yellow House deserves the highest rating and is evidence of their status as the Best of Haywood Winner 2024 B&B. Thank you, Chad and Josh! Your compassion and optimism turned our hurricane fatigue and sadness into hope, joy and gratitude for your amazing hospitality.
