Baymont by Wyndham Waupun

After a long day on the road, this place was just what I needed. The room was clean, the pillows exceptional, and there were numerous towels and washcloths. The motel is up the street from a grocery store and a mile from quaint downtown Waupun. Their breakfast beat some of the other motels I had stayed at in my 2+ week roadtrip crisscrossing Wisconsin. And their breakfast hit the spot.

My family and friends stayed at this hotel and were very pleased. Some who travel need to stay on bottom floor because of leg issues. and no elevator. Overall our stay was very pleasnt.

Our stay was great! Our room was super clean and smelled very refreshing. Breakfast was hot and very good. Had a great variety! Our check in was quick and easy. They were ready for our arrival. We will definitely stay here again!!

THE HOTEL WAS DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY AND POOR AMMENITIES. THE RUG IN THE LOBBY WAS GROSS, STAINED AND UNPLEASANT. MY BATHROOM AWFUL, FELT I WOULD BE LESS CLEAN TAKING A SHOWER IN THERE. THE BREAKFAST WAS CHEAP AND VERY POOR QUALITY. NO FRESH FRUIT OR WELL-BALANCED OPTIONS. WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE EVER!

Pros: Staff was friendly, rooms were clean Cons: Outside of building is shabby, chipped paint, etc, Rooms need work, bathroom caulking needed, work needed on doors, rusty chrome/metal areas, needs painting, etc. Only have Roku TV & remotes don't work well. Was supposed to get AARP discount, room went from 109 (pre tax) to 108.90 (pre tax) so only got a 10 CENT discount. Overall an "ok" place to stay and rest your head but owner needs to invest in their property and give a real discount if you are going to offer one.

On this Midwest trip we traveled to 12 different hotels, all about the same quality range. This hotel was average compared to the others. Overall pretty good. Bathroom could use some updating. Free breakfast was good.

Staff, room, and breakfast were good. Pool area not so much. I enjoyed my one night stay. The room was in good shape and relatively clean...missed a couple spots in the bathroom and tub is showing it's age...oh, and the handle for the toilet kept wanting to fall off. Overall, adequate but not spectacular. Staff was friendly and breakfast was really good with more than just carbs. Hot choices like make your own waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage along with hard boiled eggs and the normal fare (cereal, juice, breads, coffee, etc.) The pool area sadly has seen better days. The pool itself was nice. The hot tub was mostly drained and turned off (under repair?) and the sauna has long ago been turned into a locked storage room (sad face). The meeting room attached to the pool area was also filled with cluttered storage items (keep that door closed, eh?) Overall, average. I'll probably try the place across the street on a future visit.

Room was damp and smelled musty when I told the staff she said she would spray air freshener in the room. That end of the hall the hall carpet was ripped like it also was wet. The staff said the maid must not have left the a/c on and it had been humid outside. This was a bigger issue than that.

We used this hotel attend my father's funeral. The entire building needs to be updated. There are holes in walls, carpet in the hallways is so rippled someone could trip and fall. Prices charged are ridiculous. Stayed 3 days and had no housekeeping...not even garbage emptied or toiletries replaced.
