amazing place, polite staff, vintage vibes. Perfect location if you are into night life, without any noise of clubs or traffic. loved my 2 night stay here ane would definitely come back.

The stay was really comfortable, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The only downside is I had the top most room and the day of check-in there wasn’t anyone to help with the bags. The day of check-out there was someone. I loved the breakfast and brunch menus, but wish that the dinner menu had a bit more variety and was a bit more affordable. Overall lovely hotel and perfect for business especially if you’ll be around DC main business district.

At this historic hotel you will find yourself conveniently located to get to the Metro yet feeling as if you have stepped back into history. Vintage hotel so every room is different. We had 5 rooms reserved for our group and each one was different yet fully equipped. (Except for a TV which we did not miss) The beds were comfortable but several of the rooms had a rather noisy evening until 10 at night due to various gathering spots in the hotel. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The staff is really good -- and they seem to care about the guests. I've known Wilfredo for a couple decades ... he's a fixture in that restaurant and a super buen hombre. It's nice to see familiar faces when I visit DC.!! Thanks very much for your hospitality and keeping the Tabard Inn "the same as always..."

Quirky hotel with all the charm of a private club. Our double room was enormous with high ceilings and a large sitting area. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar is not to be missed. The value is high. Great location for shopping and restaurants. Definitely will come back.

Quirky, unusual place was fun for one night. There are no elevators so be aware. We were on the top floor which was lovely but when I had to go get coffee in the lobby it was a pain. Wooden floors are old so expect squeaks. Location is nice and in a walkable area. We parked a 3 minute walk away in paid public lot to save though valet parking available. Lovely outdoor area for breakfast and other times.

I loved the antique feel of the hotel and its charming public spaces. The wood decor was beautiful, just like you'd imagine an inn from our Founding Father's day, only less smoky. There's no elevator, but the front desk will transport your bags, and the room was so spacious! There were only two of us but we could have gotten 4 in easily and probably two more with the stored folding bed and a loveseat! There was even a fireplace! A real fireplace! No tv, but DC has so much to see, and so much of it walking, we fell into bed each night without noticing. Reasonable strength to wifi, and the bathroom...!!! I have never enjoyed such a drenching shower anywhere, not even in a rainshower spa! It was heavenly, and warm, and memorable! I'd stay again! Oh, and the restaurants serves up a lovely lox and scrambled eggs in the morning. They can make it without dill, too, if you're like me and can't stand the herb. Great toast, too, challah bread.

There was great service all around in the hotel and restaurant. The rooms were neat, filled with antiques, and comfortable. Nice size. Restaurant was yummy. I appreciated the $10 food coupons for breakfast and lunch during my stay. I would stay there again!

A very quaint hotel and historic room. We liked the eclectic furniture and artwork. Super helpful and friendly staff. Only possible negatives: a lot of stairs, and low lighting in the room (a lot of lamps to turn on to get adequate lighting levels). The neighborhood was so quiet despite being a block from the DuPont Circle action. We took Lime bikes everywhere.
