Three star motel room, clean, basic amenities: air-con, comfortable bed, frig without freezer, kettle, TV and ironing board. None of the extras some small motels offer, eg microwave. Good bathroom, basic toiletries. Grab rail in the shower would be a welcome addition. The motel is off the New England highway, a short walk from the town centre. We were not disturbed by highway traffic noise overnight. Pub meals, lunch and dinner, served in the hotel bistro. Parking is free, spaces not allocated and in the area behind the kitchen was very tight. It was fair value at the less than $100 price offered on our usual booking platform.

From the moment you arrive the staff make you feel the most important person in the resort, we recently celebrated our wedding anniversary, we arrived on the Sunday and our special day was the following Tuesday and the staff all congratulated us. Welcome drink on arrival, a bottle of sparking chilling in the room with the fire on low, just beautiful. The food was amazing, the chef even personally coming to our table to explain our evening dinner. All staff were so attentive and even down to campfire canopies catering for my dislike of oysters, over and above at every level. Shout out to Camille for a fun and informative Yoga class to then organising a spa with a bottle of champagne and cheese board and to Alec for his undenying passion and knowledge of tending a bar. Such a serene and peaceful stay, we will come back. Would be even nicer if the pool was heated:)

Stayed for one night recently and while the room itself was clean and spacious the mattress was very old and uncomfortable and the window mounted air conditioner was extremely noisy which made for a very poor night sleep and if you can bring your own pillow from home do so!!! However for $110.00 a night you get what you pay for and it could have been a great night sleep because we did not hear any traffic noise and I was awake most of the night.

Was going to stay next door until I rang to enquire about a room, maybe wait until you accept a booking before showing how rude you can be, anyway enough about 63 next door, on to the Comfort Inn. Welcoming, friendly, too willing to help & that's only the phone call to book. Splendidly welcoming upon arrive, the reception staff were just so attentive to their guests need. I'd spent a fairly long day touring & was looking forward to unwinding in the pool, it was crystal clear & so inviting. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, all amenities were there, I needed for nothing. I ordered the room service for dinner, what a treat!!! Beautiful is the least I can stay. I spend maybe 20 nights a year staying in hotels, this is one place I will be arranging another visit. Thanks to the staff, I enjoyed my stay.
