Stay away from this hotel. We had ants in our room day 1. Yep, we contacted them, they treated the ants. Day 2 no coffee refill or cups refilled in our room. Did we complain? No. We aren't complainers. Day 3. Our bed wasn't even made, trash can not emptied. Did we complain? No. We aren't complainers.(But hey, they did leave us DECAF coffee today) 🤷♀️. Also Day 3 my husband had returned to the room to find water on the floor of the bathroom. Upon investigation they found a cracked tank. We had had issues with the flushing of the toilet...just weird stuff, but it flushed, so we hadn't complained. We are not complainers. That evening when we had returned there was a new toilet installed. It had just been installed, and there were multiple HIE standing there and no one mentioned they thought we broke it or that we would be charged for it. When we received our bill this morning, WE were charged for the toilet and installation!!!! We did nothing to crack this toilet and we were held responsible "because it happened during your stay." We have talked to the local manager, and tried to talk to corporate. The local manager is adamant that no refund will be given because WE broke the toilet. And, if corporate won't stand behind us as members of IHG for over 20 years, maybe our days with IHG are done. How can we be a loyal follower for 20 years with NO problems, and all of a sudden we are the scum of the earth that did who knows what to break a toilet. We asked the manager about making an agreeable negotiation and she flatly refused.
