"I specifically chose Shangyi Apartment for a surfing trip, and the location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach and surf spots, and there are several surf clubs right downstairs, making it super convenient to book lessons or rent boards. The room comes with a washing machine, which is incredibly practical for washing wet clothes after surfing. Parking in the complex is free, and the housekeeper is very responsive, always quick to help with any issues. This place is a no-brainer for surfers!"

As a first-time surfer đââď¸, this all-inclusive stay (food, accommodation, and activities) was fantastic. I didn't have to worry about a thing; I could just ask the hotel butler anytime (they provide contact info). A special shout-out to our butler, Mia, who was incredibly responsive and always came through đ.
We were upgraded to the Yuanyu Hotel area. The clean and elegant architectural design instantly brought a sense of peace and comfort to my restless mind, especially in the hot 𼾠weather of Wanning, Hainan. The room was spacious, and I immediately soaked in the large bathtub after cleaning it. I didn't get to use the hotel pool because I was too tired and it was too late when I returned that day. My only two minor complaints about this hotel area are that it's a bit far from the pool⌠which is why I didn't bother going for a swim đââď¸. Also, cars occasionally pass on the road from the Yuanyu Hotel to the main lobby, which felt a bit dangerousâŚ
Regarding the overall experience within the resort, I hope they can improve the signage. Some user pathways require pre-planning and clearer guidance. Taking the swimming pool as an example again, it was a bit hard to find đ after leaving the lobby."

"Our stay this time was absolutely perfect! I had originally booked a standard room, but upon arrival, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a Thai-style villa free of charge, which was such a wonderful surprise! The villa featured high, wooden ceilings that were incredibly stylish, and the living room was spacious and comfortable. The Thai-style soft furnishings were tastefully arranged, with blue and white throw pillows complementing the solid wood furniture perfectly. Being in the room felt like a Southeast Asian getaway, the atmosphere was just incredible.
Not only was the hardware superb, but the service was also impeccable. From check-in to everyday needs, the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Their response time was quick, and they even proactively asked about our needs and offered suggestions for activities. The care in every detail made us feel especially welcome. The bedding in the room was soft and skin-friendly, and the bathroom facilities and amenities were all high-quality; you could really feel the hotel's dedication in every detail. The surrounding environment was serene, surrounded by lush greenery, offering a truly immersive holiday experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

2026 Asia 100 - Scenic Hotels"Living the good life right by the sea! The hotel's location is absolutely incredible, right on the beach.
I have to mention the dining in the lobby; while a little pricey, the food is incredibly delicious. You could honestly just sit there and gaze at the beautiful scenery all day long.
There are tons of activities every day â you don't even need to leave the hotel to have a blast. It's truly the perfect choice for a family trip.
Our butler, Mile, was super attentive and generous with complimentary fruits and drinks. We stayed for four days and three nights this time, and we'll definitely be back!"
