Bij aankomst bleken we een gebruikte kamer gekregen te hebben. Na het diner om 19.30 uur was de kamer bijna klaar..
Kamers zijn klein, badkamer mini en flink gehorig. Al met al erg duur hotel qua prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding.
Nespresso apparaat op de kamer was wel heel fijn.

Het hotel ligt in een rustige omgeving, in een park achtige setting. Het hoofdgebouw met restaurant ziet er authentiek uit en heeft een uitstraling met veel grandeur. De bijgebouwen alwaar de hotelkamers zijn gevestigd heb ik voornamelijk van buiten gezien, en zien er goed uit. Mijn kamer zat in een nieuw gebouwd deel en was modern, Scandinavische stijl ingericht met een goed bed, bovenop een vide van de kamer. Het was schoon, netjes verzorgd, maar ik vond het niet bijzonder, de prijs kwaliteit verhouding was redelijk, maar aan de dure kant. Helaas was er geen koelkastje.
Het ontbijt was erg goed, en doordat het mooi weer was kon je buiten op het terras ontbijten, wat een extra dimensie meegaf om de dag mee te beginnen. Kortom een prima, rustig gelegen hotel, maar niet echt heel bijzonder.

Lovely country house in a beautiful park. All the amenities, perfectly clean, very friendly staff. Good value for money. Will definitely stay again if the occasion arises.

Rooms display a lot of wear and tear and were not clean. When we opened a curtain there was half eaten food left behind, the elevator smelled disgusting,. The main building is nice but rest of the domain is old fashioned; don’t stay here unless you absolutely have to

Normaal als ik in Nederland ben voor een dienstreis boek ik een kamer bij van der Valk, dan weet je wat je krijgt. Dit keer wou ik eens wat anders en had echt hoge verwachtingen. Helaas was ik niet tevreden met de hotelkamer. Piep klein kamertje, geen TV, een grote ventilator (dus waarschijnlijk smoorheet in de zomer), heel smal ventilatievenster en een zeer zeer kleine badkamer, zie foto. Je staat letterlijk naast de WC te douchen.
'a Avonds kon ik niet in het restaurant eten om dat het vol was, tot 2 keer toe! Dus werd het 2x een restaurant in Vught!
Het positieve? Heel aardig personeel, makkelijk om de auto te parkeren en een zeer goed ontbijt.
Ik probeer dit hotel nog een keer, maar boek dan een grotere kamer.
