"Just a few casitas, but they all offer privacy in the rainforest. We stayed in Haleakale. Raindrops on the roof overnight with a fire was so romantic. Fresh fruit and quiche were delivered to the fridge in our room before checkin for the morning’s breakfast. A little private porch to enjoy coffee in the morning. And free protein bars in the lobby so we had a treat on arrival. We considered staying in the Hawaii Volcano House on the rim - boy are we glad we didn’t (though we did enjoy dinner there overlooking Kilauea). Being 8 minutes away from HVNP, we beat the crowds and felt like we had the Park to ourselves. If it matters to you, there was strong wifi in our room. And lots of channels on TV. All of the staff we met were welcoming and kind. In fact, I messed up our reservation and John was Mr. “No Problem” when we called to fix things. Try asking a chain to do that - no chance. Our only regret: we wish we’d stay two nights. Other guests we chatted with stayed three nights, and their feeling was also that two nights was sufficient. Highly recommended. "This is a hotel that has to be evaluated. If you happen to have a plan to travel on the Big Island of Hawaii, staying here is the best choice! First of all, the overall environment is very comfortable and beautiful! All the service staff are very enthusiastic, the food in the restaurant is also delicious, in short, I like it very much! "The location is very good, located in a small village5-6 kilometers away from the Volcano National Park, convenient for multiple access to and from the Volcano Park. The environment is very good, there is a cabin with 6-7 rooms, the room decoration is very characteristic, the bath water is very flush, free parking. Complete self-check-in, check-out, no staff. This season, it was quite cold at night, there were more quilts, the heater was a bit noisy, and there was an atmosphere light, which could not be turned on when sleeping."

"The hotel is located two kilometers away from the Big Island Volcano Park in Hawaii. It is time to go to the Volcano Park to see the eruption. The hotel is very beautiful and actually stays in the tropical rain forest.
