Volcano Village Estates

So quaint. Beautiful surroundings. Host was very responsive. We stayed in rainbow cottage. The breakfast they provided to warm up on daily basis was good included fresh fruit. We got the one day lunch which included a insulated bag to keep. It was great more than enough for 2 people. So close to volcano national Park. We went several times a day

Located conveniently right outside the entrance to Hawaii Volcano Park, these premier “village’ is a gem. Offers beautifully designed cottages, delicious breakfast and attentive Innkeeper and staff. The jacuzzi, available 24/7 is the “icing on the cake@.

There were some great things and other really awful things. starting with the bad, the sheets reeked of urine in one of the beds, which presumably hadn't been washed. Meanwhile a wadded up sheet was sitting on the chair. The bed had been made, just not washed so you wouldnt smell it until you were in it. Other beds had weird stains on the sheets and pillows. The wifi was horrendously slow, and my whole family needed to use a phone hotspot for wifi, the power plugs next to the bed did not work or charge anything. Everything was a little worn down, although I thought it kind of added to the theme. For the good, the view was lovely, the showers had plenty of warm water, and the food provided for breakfast was really nice. My main concern is the cleanliness but apart from that it was pretty nice and conveniently close to the parks. Only rating it this low because I had to sleep on a couch with cold air blowing from the window because I wouldn't sleep in a bed someone else peed in without washing it

Great place ! We loved our cottage, Unauma Falls. Very spacious, clean and very nice bathroom. Leaded window over the bed nice kitchenette Nice welcome from the team. We absolutely recommend this place ! ______________________________

We live on island and did an overnighter at The Volcano Village Estates (Hina room). It was such a lovely cottage. Upon checking in, the unit was immaculate! It was well stocked. They provided 100% Kona Coffee, fresh fruit and French Toast for breakfast. The towel heater, bed heater, hot tub & dehumidifier were a bonus! The inn keepers checked in regularly to see if there was anything else that we needed during our short stay. We would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful stay we had at volcano Village! The accommodations were spacious, clean, and elegant. It was my husband‘s birthday weekend, and he could not have been more pleased. We brought in our own food and made good use of the kitchen, although breakfast comes with the room. Jon and Carlos could not have been better hosts. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Wonderful hospitality at Volcanoes Village Estates! All the staff were engaging and helpful. The room was comfortable, breakfast fresh fruit and French toast or the second day chicken sausage frittata were delivered to the room, and delicious! So convenient to Volcanoes National Park, so it’s minutes to the rim, trails and restaurants at Volcano House. Can’t say enough about how kind John, Carlos and everyone we came in contact with were. One of us got sick and they recommended and urgent care and called a day after we departed to check on us. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Cute and super convienent to Volcano National, but it left a lot to be desired for the price tag, but strangely, lodging is very limited in Volcano (maybe the NAtional Parks will get their game on someday and build a lodge like they did in Zion) Staff was very friendly. The space is in need of updating and general repairs; toilet did not like to fully flush, carpet and decor is worn. We knew the odds of rain when we ventured there, but hoped for a bit more as far as a bed and breakfast...there were no dryers available for drying rain soaked hiking clothes and the breakfast is delivered to your room and stored in the fridge before you arrive. Our junior sweet had one (broken) chair and no table so the four of us were left to sit on the beds to eat breakfast. The junior suite offers a large porch with a table and chairs but it is uncovered so for us it was an unusabe space (screened in porch would've made this pace 100x's better) Fortunatey we had a deck of cards with us to past the time as the larger home was not open for guest use. It was the one time on our trip where I would've welcomed a TV for a movie night as the rain was relentless and had us in our room by 5P...

Wonderful place to stay near the volcanos. The cottages have a homely feel to it with greenery all around. The staff is very responsive to your needs. We opted to get a massage which was very relaxing and highly recommended. The volcano national park is less than 5 mins away and a must see!
