"We (my hubby and my mom) stayed the last 2 weeks in May in this hotel. I had booked it because I needed an indoor swimming pool for my mom which is her highlight of the year. We loved our stay. The rooms (1 double 1 single) were clean, nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choices. Swimmingpool was great and we had the chance on 3 days to also use the Saunas which we loved. We did not book the half board as I prefer to try different restaurants and cuisines rather than eating at the same place all the time. We ended up eating a la carte at the hotel quite often. The food was good with the exception of 1 dish on 1 day. The hotel is very quiet and the surrounding invites to hiking tours which we did. The staff is lovely and helpful. Be prepared there is nothing in the village or close by in case you want shops or restaurants or discos etc. It is in the middle of nowhere so to speak. But shops or other restaurants or smaller cities are just 20-30min away and so is the Edersee in case you want to take a boat ride. If you have a car there is plenty to explore. I would love to come back one day to enjoy and join the yoga and horseback riding. This time the vacation was solely for my mom and to spend quality time with her and walking in fresh air in nature."

"this a great hotel in a location which is really good for activity and sports, we stayed two nights and found the staff and service excellent great breakfast, running trails and cycling trails to the erdesse direct from the hotel, although we didnt have time to use the riding stables they appeared clean and well used. lovely outdoor pool. would ecommend and will probably use again."
