We waited until 9:00 to get clean wash cloths and body towels to take a shower the front desk man was mean and the telephone didn’t work in the room they need a breakfast bar and the brio closes earlier. And the pool was too small and the tub had stains in it and there cigarettes buds in our room and it was supposed to be non smoker room

The hotel itself wasn’t pleasant, housekeeping can’t keep up with the rooms. My rooms I requested at least every three to four days cleaning, but on my 1 week they didn’t even bother cleaning my room! I was told they don’t clean every day, I said I requested for 3-4 days at least but 1 week!!! I di t need everyday cleaning!! The first Marriot that I experience that I was told they don’t do every day cleaning, which I know every hotel is every other day. But to make excuses is not good. But the day they clean my room I met the lady who did the cleaning on my floor she was nice. Luckily their Bistro Cafè attendant was very helpful and friendly. Cathy was very attentive with her customers needs.

Just want to commend JOSHI, Front Desk employee, for being so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. He was so quick in helping me when I was having a problem with the hotel computer and printer. It's hard to find that kind of attitude nowadays. See you guys again next time!! Thanks, Joshi! Corazon

I have been visiting the courtyard by Marriott here in Va beach and everyone has been so nice and accommodating. My last visit I Chose the wrong check in date and when I arrived, PJ had me wait a few minutes before accommodating me with the room to prevent me from having to check into another hotel and return the next day.

Cathy at the Bistro at the Courtyard by Marriott is awesome! Great personality and very welcoming! Food is great! She made me a wonderful grilled cheese and tomato soup. I highly recommend coming to see her. She will go above and beyond for her customers.

There are a few positives about the hotel it is very conveniently located and the staff are friendly and pleasant, there is ample parking that is well lit and monitored. However this property is not up to Marriott standards, the rooms need updating including painting. The AC is louder than an F-18 and while they supposedly make up the rooms every other day they did our once in 6 days and only after we pestered them. Most but not all the time they will address problems when you bring it to their attention but not always. They left a bag of garbage in a back hall for 3 days despite being told twice and the public washrooms are a mess. I would not stay here again.

Great Service Upon arrival when we checked in, our room wasn't available even though it was reserved. So the associate Briana gave us 2 rooms beside each other with King size beds. The Bartender Cathy B made us some great drinks. I give this hotel and the experience 10 stars. I will return.
