The location is difficult to find, and there is no attached parking space, but there are many paid parking lots nearby, and there are also supermarkets nearby.
The house is very clean and you can ask them to pick up any items you need.

This year, Kyoto's red leaf season ended a little later, and luckily booked a room far below the November price. This door is not big but there is a hole in the sky inside. It feels like there is a townhouse built in 4-5. Our check-in time was relatively late, and the small requirements made to the front desk lady were met. There are two floors, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our couple is a bit extravagant. It should not be crowded next time we bring our parents again (it is estimated that it is inconvenient for both parents to come). The block is very quiet, not far from Nijo City, about seven or eight minutes from Omiya Station, we dragged our suitcases on the quiet street at night a little embarrassing: D. Overall satisfaction, if the price is right, I will choose next time.

The room is really clean, it is very quiet surrounded by residents, the door of each house is uniquely decorated, and there are views everywhere! Because I brought two old people with me, they are not used to Japanese food! I cooked a few meals to let them eat hometown food! The B&B is very convenient to Kiyomizudera Temple. It only takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the station. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Kiyomizudera Temple, Hanamikoji, and other scenic spots! Kyoto is still a place worth staying for a few more days. Personally, I like to travel quietly and slowly. I prefer Kyoto to Tokyo and Osaka!

It's great. You can immerse yourself in a Japanese B&B. The eel shop next to it is also very close, which is perfect for going back to eat when you are tired from shopping. It is a 5-minute walk from Toji Station and one stop from Kyoto Station. It is convenient for traveling to Osaka and the airport. The boss is also very enthusiastic.

The most satisfying hotel during this trip to Japan. The decoration and facilities are in line with the description online. The actual stay is also very comfortable and quiet. The staff's service is warm and welcoming. We were also pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere in the lounge, breakfast, and the TV for watching Netflix smoothly. At the same price, you can only stay in an average hotel in Kyoto Station/Kawaramachi Shijo, which has more convenient transportation. The only shortcomings: the address is not very clear, many elderly taxi drivers can't find it (you can solve it by taking an Uber), the toilet paper is a bit too thin (I understand it is for environmental protection but it affects the use), there are no curtains so I wake up early (It can also be considered a unique living experience)

A very good B&B experience in Kyoto~
Transportation: The location and transportation are very convenient. Our two families took a taxi from Kyoto Station and took a business class taxi, which was even more cost-effective. It is also very convenient to go to various attractions from the B&B.
Surroundings: There is a large supermarket about two minutes away from home, which is very convenient. A few minutes walk away is Toji Temple.
Facilities: A well-equipped B&B, as well as a washing machine with dryer. There are two toilets, which are both very clean and very convenient for our two families to use.
Service: caring! The landlord is very nice and attentive, and communication in Chinese is very convenient. Before check-in, they will also send us a PDF, which contains detailed introduction to check-in transportation and other details. The transportation to several famous attractions and small tips are very detailed~ and a heart-warming and delicious breakfast~ The food is super delicious😋The host will also give her reasonable suggestions to make our trip more perfect😍
Kyoto is great, I would like to experience it next time~

Although the house is small, it is a well-equipped B&B. It is just right for a family of five. It has laundry, drying, microwave, kettle, etc. The integrated shower room and toiletries are well received. The landlord is also very considerate in the layout. Before moving in, the host Xue Yue began to help suggest itineraries and prepare road books. During the stay, she also patiently answered various questions about traveling in Kyoto. The B&B is in a residential area and is quiet at night. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay!

The B&B is very clean. It is located in a residential area. The residents are quite quiet. There is just a bit of noise from passing cars at night. It is a good place to experience a Japanese cabin. It is especially suitable for a family. It is more comfortable than staying in a hotel. It is spacious and has many rooms. It has a living room and takes into account both privacy and privacy. Family interactions. There are kitchen supplies so you can cook your own meals. The nearby 24-hour supermarket is very convenient for buying ingredients and making Japanese hot pot. You can use Uber to call a car to the door of your room. The landlord responded promptly via WeChat and provided detailed information about the surrounding area.
It is recommended that there be a small table next to the sink to store cosmetics, or a tabletop mirror to facilitate putting on makeup on the living room table. Slippers are difficult to wear, and it would be better to provide disposable toiletries. Overall it's worth staying, especially for family travel.
Some information for other friends who are making reservations: There is a subway station ten minutes away, but the Kyoto subway is not very convenient. The main bus is the main one, but the bus is a bit laborious. Basically, it is simple and straightforward to use Uber. A taxi from Kyoto Station costs about 1,100 yen, Eikan-do Temple is 3,800 yen, Nishi Honganji Temple is 1,600 yen, Tofukuji Temple is 1,300 yen, and Kiyomizu Temple is 3,400 yen.

GGuest UserI would not recommend staying at Kyoto Machiya Fukune. The staff is very nice, the tubs are pretty, and the place is clean and well-located. But if I was staying in the area again, I would book an upscale Japanese hotel with a bath instead. It was loud. The tea ceremony was not actually a tea ceremony. Dinner was nicely presented and tasted good, but the parts of it that were intended to be hot were cold. The Japanese style breakfast was great. But still, the overall experience was average — and it is too pricey to justify the expense.

TTiangaoyundan1025The hotel is a traditional Japanese-style two-story building, really like the home of the machine cat. The entrance on the first floor is the entrance hall, and the entrance to the house is the living room, kitchen, toilet, bathroom and backyard view. Can truly experience the traditional Japanese-style squatter, because the original Japanese commercial housing is calculated according to the horizontal area, so resulting in the vertical design of the house, reducing the horizontal area.
Focus on the key points, you must go to Figure 3 and Figure 4 near Kyoto Station to check in first, don't navigate directly to the place of accommodation, don't ask me how I know.

ZZepheris_CasulThe room is a traditional Japanese machiya. The soundproofing of the wooden room is definitely not good. The room is right next to the stream and the view is very good. The facilities inside are somewhat accomplished, but the stairs are not easy to walk. It is recommended for tourists who like Japanese machiya to experience it. In addition, the hotel's management needs to be further improved. After staying for three days, we only provided 2 bottles of water, 2 days' worth of towels and toothbrushes. . .

GGuest UserWhat a beautiful place! Kiraku Kyoto Honmachi is a house which has been refurbished with subtle taste and delightful creativity. There’s definitely magic to it! I loved walking on the pebbles in the downstairs bedroom - so soothing for sore feet. There’s also a smooth walkway to the bed if pebbles aren’t your thing. Upstairs there’s a tokonoma with scroll, as well as a full set of equipment for carrying out a tea ceremony, including of course, matcha. The host even had delicious matcha “financiers” waiting for us upon arrival. The outdoor bath is brilliant. It’s quite easy to fill and I’d highly recommend having an outdoor soak every night.
Seeing as some in our group weren’t up for tourism in the city, it was doubly worthwhile to have stayed in such a house where they could breathe in Kyoto atmosphere without ever moving from the tatami!

BbrownberryIt is a temporary but nice and spacious home in Kyodo. It is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, and the facilities are very good. The beddings on the tatami floor are so good that I slept like a baby for all three nights.
The only inconvenience is that there’s no cleaning service for my three-night stay, making the trash bins a bit messy!
But all in all, it is super great experience to stay in this lovely Japanese old house, with all the modern convinience such as floor heating, for a Kyodo holiday.

GGuest UserThe room is quite large, two floors up and down, belonging to the townhouse, facilities are all available. The reception was very professional, and also introduced us how to play and helped us search for bus shifts. The only downside is that the living room does not know whether it is medicine or something, a taste. Everything else is fine.
