Very clean, complete facilities, great location, and very good surrounding environment. The air conditioner was louder than a tractor and I couldn't sleep at all. I told the front desk that there was no solution. I could hear the sound of air conditioning in other rooms in the corridor, so I gave up the idea of changing rooms.

Sedona/Oak Creek is expensive, everyone knows that, and this HIE is no exception. But do they really need to charge $15 per night parking fee? They don't tag the cars or give you a pass to put on the dash. Just another way to nickel-dime you. Its not like they are a convenient place to park for anything! The room was typical HIE - nice size, clean, plenty of AC outlets. Typical HIE included breakfast, and the pool was welcome to cool off in the afternoon.

Best night sleep we had on trip. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Room was clean food for breakfast was awesome. Had gluten free food for breakfast. Recommend anyone to stay at this property when in the area. Staff exceptional and knowledgeable about area.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. More importantly the staff were not only helpful, but very friendly. The location was also very convenient. I would strongly recommend that you stay here if you are in the area. Also the breakfast was excellent.

Called a week early to make sure we could have e a top floor. Called the day of check in ,asking for the top floor. On check in we were told no top floor. So much for being a platinum member. We were never offered points or a snack for being platinum members ??? Hotel wasn’t even at high occupancy and this is how they treat you.

Not good! Smelled like stale cigarettes in the lobby. I was told I’d be charged $30 a day to park! Then I was notified that there would be no water between 9 AM and 3 PM die to a leak! The breakfast staff was extremely rude and impatient. The air conditioner unit was so loud my son could not sleep. The building is old and smells bad. Do not recommend. This is not the HIE quality I usually experience.

This hotel is very dated. Stains all over the hallway carpets and doors slamming all the time. Check in was ok, a bit slow. Breakfast just ok. Male on duty one morning was picking up muffins by 9 am. Breakfast ended at 9:30. Come on buddy! Guests notice this stuff. Lots of parking, good pizza next door (Famous Pizza) and easy walk to Bell Rock. We are Platinum elite guests but got no recognition for it. Did not even get the room we requested. We faced the pool while the woman who checked in ahead of me got a corner room with a view. That's what I had requested but she got it. Not sure what the point of requesting is if they just give the room to anyone. Would we stay again? Maybe. If we could afford it, we might stay someplace else in Sedona that offers breakfast.

We stayed here one night on our way through the National Parks, and this hotel was our most expensive and most disappointing of the week. The staff were all very nice and accommodating, and our room was clean. However, this facility is tired and dated. The stairway door two doors down from our room had a door closer that did not work and we could hear the door slam shut every time someone exited. Our in room safe was not working during our stay. (In fairness, we did not notify the desk about the safe until we were checked out.) Finally, beware of the parking fee, $15/night. This hotel is just okay, but not what you would expect for the price.
