The service was five star from the initial greeting through to check out. Accommodation was modern with glass doors and quality fittings plus a coffee machine which was a nice touch. Spa was very good although you need a shower cap for the pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was excellent and they even provided gluten-free pastries which was a lovely touch. Finally, the vineyard and surrounding areas are stunning.

A wonderful, peaceful stay at Torre de Gomariz - every aspect of our visit was fantastic, from the service to the rooms to the beautiful pool area and spa. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Desde o primeiro momento em que visitámos a Torre de Gomariz que soubemos que seria o sítio ideal para realizar o nosso casamento. Um espaço super tranquilo e bem cuidado, uma paisagem envolvente lindíssima e todas as áreas comuns, interiores e exteriores, com bastante potencial. Ao longo de todo o processo, desde a visita inicial, trocas de e-mails, provas até à reunião final, o diretor geral foi sempre muito simpático, prestativo, acessível e disponível. Facilitou-nos bastante as tomadas de decisão, com as sugestões e soluções que encontrava, o que nos deixou confiantes e seguros de que nada iria falhar. No dia do casamento o chefe de sala garantiu que tudo decorria na perfeição. A comida estava deliciosa, o serviço foi excelente e os timings foram sempre cumpridos. Os convidados adoraram tanto o jantar como o cocktail. Alugámos o hotel em exclusividade, para a nossa família e amigos e, mais uma vez, o staff foi incrível, super atenciosos. Para além disso, os quartos são super confortáveis, modernos e com vistas deslumbrantes. A articulação com os outros fornecedores também foi excelente e não tivemos que nos preocupar com nada, a não ser desfrutar do nosso dia. Foi, sem qualquer dúvida, a melhor escolha que poderíamos ter feito. Recebemos muitos elogios por parte dos nossos convidados, o que nos deixou super felizes. Recomendamos muito a Torre de Gomariz e só temos a agradecer a todos os que fizeram parte do nosso dia, em especial ao Nelson e ao Tiago, para que fosse perfeito (e foi!).

Outstanding 5-star hotel in a historic building surrounded by vineyards. The hotel offers all the amenities that guests expect in this category. The spa area includes a heated indoor pool, sauna and steam bath. An additional room with fitness equipment would be desirable, but is not available. In the hotel restaurant, we enjoyed a menu that would have earned a Michelin star. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and good, but should offer a little more for a 5-star hotel. In addition to the main restaurant, there is a second restaurant which is open throughout the day and offers smaller dishes. The rooms are scrupulously clean and luxuriously furnished. Just a note, not a criticism: the guest houses in which the rooms are located are about 250 meters from the central building. So you have to take a walk outside on stairs to get to breakfast. This didn't bother us, we are fit and had an umbrella. However, it could be a problem for guests with disabilities.

I absolutely Loved this Spa Hotel! It was nice and quiet. The grounds were beautiful. They have bikes available for you. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff was exceptional. I witnessed a very arrogant, demanding family and the staff handled them professionally and with as much patience as humanly possible. They were complaining about not having a newspaper every morning and an elevator?? American Arrogance! I'd put money on it they were East Coast lol I apologized on behalf of America lol I guess they missed the part is used to be a Tower which is still standing. And my favorite was the Chapel on the grounds. The food unfortunately wasn't the greatest and there is no real options in that area so we end up going to Braga for food allot. Other than that it's a must stay!
