SureStay Hotel by Best Western Vientiane

The room was clean and well-equipped. The location was good, very close to the Mekong River and surrounded by many restaurants. The hotel stipulates that check-in is after 2:00, but we waited until nearly 3:00 and the room was still not ready, so we had to drag our tired bodies to the street. The front desk staff did not speak good English. When we asked if there was any foreign currency exchange, they just shook their heads. We had to find a bank on the street. The next morning, we asked another English-speaking waiter, who said that we could use US dollars to exchange Laotian currency. There were no boiled eggs or fried eggs at the buffet counter for breakfast, and we had to order from the waiter to provide them. We booked this hotel for the quality of Best Western, but it was not up to its standards.

The room is of a decent size, with great lighting and a great view from two large French windows. The breakfast is also OK, and you need to order hot food from the waiter, but it's generally good.

I usually don't comment on hotel bookings, but this experience is so outrageous that I must write it up! Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the three-day and two-night stay! 1. When I checked in on the first day, I was first told that my room was not available yet and I needed to wait. All my friends had checked in. I waited in the lobby for half an hour before the waiter came to tell me that I still couldn't check in normally for the time being, and suggested that I check in two hours later! ! ! 2. After checking in at three or four in the afternoon, not long after I lay down to take a lunch break, an employee came to knock on the door and asked me when I planned to check out?? I was so confused! I told the other party that I had just checked in and stayed for two days, and the other party left! Things should have ended here, but this weird hotel is really not! Then there were 2 groups of different waiters knocking on my door! I was really speechless! Later, I called the front desk to ask why this happened, and the other party told me that because there was no admission system, the waiter didn't know? Whose fault was that? ? ? 3. When I took a shower on the first night, there was no light in the bathroom, only the light in the sink, so the shower room was as dark as smearing! The most bizarre thing is that the sewer was blocked! I took a normal shower, and the water was up to my feet! After I came out, I called the front desk and they came to fix it. As a result, the same problem occurred when I took a shower the next night! I was really impressed!!! This service and this facility are far from worthy of this price! Not to mention the mosquitoes in the room!
