Ein wundervolles Team. Für Veganer ein reichhaltiges extra Frühstück. Allgemein gute Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Alle sind sehr zuvorkommend und merken sich die Frühstücksgetränke der Gäste für den nächsten Morgen. Super angenehmer Service, mit viel Charme sowohl beim Frühstück wie auch beim Abendessen. Die Zimmer sind schön, gemütlich und das Bett ist himmlisch. Die Rezeption ist absolut phantastisch. Sehr hilfsbereit und gehen die Extrameile, sodass man die Seele baumeln lassen kann.

Ein toller Ort eingebettet im Kastanien Wald von Morcote mit wenigen Zimmern. Das Haus ist authentisch und mit viel Aufwand restauriert aber hat als 5* Hotel einige Details die unerwartet sind. Die Parkierung ist eher kompliziert. Aber das positive überwiegt ganz klar und dafür sorgt gleich zu Beginn „la Direttrice Andrea“ mit ihrem einnehmenden Lächeln ihrer Kompetenz für einen tollen Beginn. Die Küche ist exzellent und hat eine auserwählte Karte. Das Personal ist äußerst kompetent und liebenswürdig . Das Frühstück lässt nichts offen „klein aber Oho“ Wer das Essen liebt sollte unbedingt auf den Berg zu „ Ristorante Vicania“ gehen. Tolle Tessiner Küche bei liebenswürdigen Menschen . Nun ich werden zurückkehren in der Hoffnung La Signora „Andrea“ anzutreffen die für einen gute Beginn garant ist . Danke an alle und bis bald

Wir waren zu Silvester 2023 bereits in diesem Hotel. Die Erfahrung mit dem Restaurant La Sorgente (siehe entsprechende Bewertung) war damals nicht so toll (was sich aber nun grundlegend geändert hat!), aber das Hotel war - damals und auch bei unserem jetzigen Aufenthalt - grossartig. Die Räumlichkeiten sind extrem schön in das ursprüngliche, uralte Klostergebäude integriert. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich, speziell hervorheben möchten wir die Dame, welche das Frühstück betreut. So eine nette, aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Person hatten wir sehr sehr selten - super! Da das Hotel mit dem nahe liegenden Weingut verbunden ist, ergeben sich - wie an unserem Wochenende - auch Gelegenheiten für ein Wine & Dine. Das können wir ebenfalls sehr empfehlen. Kurzum: wer sich etwas Schönes und Spezielles gönnen will (Vico Morcote ist ebenfalls sehr hübsch!), der ist hier richtig.

History and design in perfect combination. A hushed atmosphere envelops this place on a steep hill above tiny Vico Morcote. The lake is a 20 minute walk downhill on stairs and cobblestone, getting back up again is the real challenge. Restaurant Sorgente offers fine dining in a casual atmosphere. Don’t miss restaurant Vicania set in a meadow further up the hill and offering wonderful sunset views, transport can be booked. Rent electric bikes from the friendly staff or take the ferry to Lugano for some city vibes.

Superior Hotel in the quiet environment of Vico Morcote. Careing, very friendly personel, excellent breakfast buffet and food in its own restaurant. Very individual rooms, nice garden and guest rooms. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Sono stato con mia moglie venerdì 19 luglio per un evento wine e dine. Tenuta molto bella. Aperitivo poi presentazione della tenuta da parte del proprietario. Cena servita all'interno in una sala molto accogliente. Ottima cena con piatti molto curati e di qualità. Personale molto preparato. Complimenti..

Sono stato con mia moglie in occasione del nostro anniversario di nozze. E' stata un'esperienza bellissima. Il posto è molto piacevole e rilassante. Personale disponibilissimo e molto gentile. Abbiamo preso la camera ad angolo con vista lago incantevole. La camera è bellissima, pulita, con un letto morbido, molto accogliente e ben arredata. Anche il bagno è perfetto. Abbiamo fatto la degustazione vini con vini della loro cantina e visita al castello, che consiglio vivamente di fare. La cantina è super moderna e tenuta benissimo. Il castello vale la pena di essere visitato. Bella la passeggiata fra i vigneti e la vista sul lago che è STUPENDA. Torneremo sicuramente.
