Best Pet friendly Hotels in Viareggio

Ok with the covid restrictions the pool must be out of use but it was full of stagnant water, and there was no security gate to stop small children falling in. Hotel very old looking and rusty Carpark full of rubbish Broken shower Scruffy bathroom with broken toilet roll holder No complimentary drink of any kind No water in mini bar and not stocked as per price list ! No room service after 9pm No even a coffee drinks machine in room or public areas Curtains torn and tatty Switches sticky and unpleasant to use. Corridor dark probably to hide the filthy carpet Restaurant closed at 9pm. We were the first ones in and items sold out. Request for parking information sent via ***********, specifically asking about EV charging ignored and no answer received (and no ev parking of course!) And this is a 4 star hotel? Priced at 200€ a night this hotel was the worst hotel I have stayed in for many years. It would have been expensive at 80€. Never again.

Every staff member is so helpful, friendly and makes you feel like you’re part of the palace hotel family. This was an Excellent choice. We Loved staying here. Comfy bed. Air conditioned room. Super Clean & the most delightful staff. They were all welcoming. We were checked in by a very nice gentleman. It is 24 hour check in which was perfect as we arrived at 11:45pm. We caught a cab from Pisa airport for €80. It was really nice to wake up first thing in the morning right on the sea front. The morning breakfast staff were particularly friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. Tasty breakfast each day with homemade cakes, boiled eggs, cheeses, salami, yoghurts, fresh fruit, etc. The hotel is Across street from the beach - although be aware – there are no free beaches anywhere near the main seafront. Sadly, they’ve all been taken over by hotels. We paid €25 for two chairs and an umbrella for half a day. The nearest free beach is a very long way from the town. Such a shame as it didn’t use to be this way. There’s a supermarket less than 100 m if you turn right when you leave the hotel. We hope to return next year!

This very comfortable and modern hotel is very centrally located in Viareggio. It has nice light in room and we had a view over the lovely garden space at the entrance of the building. The rooms are spotless and there is a small fridge as well as hairdryer and bathroom essentials. The staff were really helpful and professional. The breakfast which was included was fantastic. Everything you could wish for for breakfast. We rented bikes from the hotel for 10Euros a day. We’ll worth it as it’s great to cycle about in Viareggio.
