Ottima struttura centralissima e comodissima, estremamente vicina al centro di Viareggio, con personale estremamente carino competente e pronto a soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti, colazione ottima e abbondante, nel complesso lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque si trovi a soggiornare a Viareggio, ne vale davvero la pena se non si vogliono avere delle complicazioni durante la vacanza

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend, old structure and in the process of modernization, small but clean rooms. Convenient location near the promenade. There are paid parking lots in the area (as in the whole city). Good breakfast. Good quality/price ratio.

We spent 2 nights at Hotel Stella d'Italia, I booked a 3 stars hotel knowing I couldn't expect a luxury environment but, despite an average general evaluation, I cannot avoid to underline some very disappointing details: 1) the sink in the bathroom was badly cracked (see photos); 2) the air conditioning was extremely noisy (one night I woke up looking in the street thinking some works were in progress; 3) in the shower box there are no place for soap and shampoo, I ended up putting them on the floor and bending every time I needed them, quite uncomfortable; 4) in the bathroom there are no hooks or other way to hang the wet towels. These points are quite basic and should be available even at 3 stars hotels (or less).
