Ehhh it was ok.
We stayed for the eldora race, it was close to the track. We are early risers and like to have our coffee early, they do not offer coffee downstairs before 6am and they do not have a coffee pot in the room. No fridge for personal use. It was a bit pricey but comfortable. If you like your egg yolk runny tell them or they come out hard!! Only ate 1 meal there. Went elsewhere after that experience.

Wonderful Spa Suite #217
My wife and I stayed in the Spa Suite, Room 217. It was a wonderful room. The soaking tub was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. We took in a show at the BMI Event Center. We will most likely enjoy a weekend here again.

I had given them excellent reviews before they had rebuilt on this site, and this building is beautiful and functional. There were many things to like here, but there was just a free things that were not right or working correctly. I pass those on to the manager when he inquired about how my stay was. He told me that he would deduct $22 off the bill, sure to a defect that made the soak tub inoperable. I noticed the charge was removed, but a few days later it was charged back onto my bill without my authorization, and no explanation or notification on their part. This doesn't seem ethical to me.

There’s nothing that they didn’t consider in this hotel. From the acoustic glass over the windows facing the railroad, the thoughtful easy to use iPad in each room, and the lovely touches in the in-room dining - it is a surprisingly amazing experience. All the sight lines in the rooms are lovely, the bed comfortable, the chairs and furniture elegant with clean lines. Everything is thought out and everything looks perfect. The staff are amazing - from every call to check-in, to being onsite, everyone is professional, nice, and personable. The food and beverage are significantly above expectations. Farm to table, with excellent innovations - brining in flavors from around the world. Thai popcorn chicken with basil, pickles, and coconut rice. The cocktails are significantly above expectations as well - the care of the touches like glittery citrus atop the beverage served in elegant stemware. And the value. The prices are throwbacks to another time. If you’re ever in this area, i highly recommend this as a location to stay.
