A very large hotel, excellently maintained, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Quite large rooms, as well as bathrooms, very well equipped Diversified and very good quality breakfast. Conference rooms, fitness room, spacious parking lot, extensive private garden. Minuses - the rooms do not have balconies, and the hotel is more difficult to access by public transport. All in all, a very good hotel - I recommend it.

I only have positive things to say about Hotel Plaza Venice. From start to finish, my stay exceeded expectations. Reception & First Impression The lobby is spacious, luxurious, and impeccably maintained. Everything is spotlessly clean and well-kept, with a touch of elegance that you immediately notice upon entering. The location is perfect, right across from the Venice Mestre train station, making it incredibly convenient for anyone traveling to or from Venice by train. After a long train journey, stepping out of the station and seeing the beautiful façade of the hotel feels like finding an oasis in the desert. It's easily the best-located hotel in the area, and that first impression is unforgettable. Check-in Experience I arrived at 11 PM for check-in, and the front desk staff was quick, efficient, and professional. Despite the late hour, the process was smooth, and I appreciated the courteous service. Room & Cleanliness The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. Everything in the room, including the bathroom, felt new and freshly renovated. The bathroom was spotless, with all the necessary amenities provided. It’s clear that the hotel takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Breakfast Experience One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The breakfast room is large, clean, and well-lit, creating a pleasant atmosphere to start the day. The hotel has several staff members serving food and beverages, which ensures everything runs smoothly. There are plenty of hot food options, and the variety of coffee drinks is impressive — you can order cappuccinos, mochaccinos, and more. Everything is fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. I can confidently say that the breakfast at Hotel Plaza Venice is excellent. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Plaza Venice offers an outstanding experience. The hotel was in a very good location. Just being about a one minute walk away from the Venezia Mestre station, the hub of transportation in the area, it was very convenient to travel to and from Venice. The only complaint that I had was that the hotel had very (very) thin walls. Every time my adjacent (and above) rooms turned on the shower, flushed the toilet, and had a conversation, I heard everything. I even heard somebody urinating. Additionally, the room keeper opened and slammed the doors starting at around 7-8AM, causing me to wake up earlier than I wanted to be. The hotel staff were all great. I might consider staying here again in the future.

I stayed at the NH Laguna last night after working a long flight from Canada. The beds were comfortable and it was very easy to access Venice by metro. I just had to recognize Teresa at the breakfast restaurant who made my day before working the flight home. She was so kind and friendly with a genuine smile and served me with such pleasure that I can tell tell that she genuinely loves her job and interacting with people and making their stay special. She pit me kn a great mood to work get flight home and reminded me to always greet my passengers with a smile.

Spend a night there to visit family. The hotel is a bit out of town centre but there’s buses and taxis nearby that takes you to the centre in no time. Hotel is beautiful and very modern. They have a very good selection for breakfast. Lunch/Dinner menu is the same but they got food in the bar for the afternoons. Prices are bit on the higher side but the staff is very kind and helpful.

an excellent hotel with excellent service. We had 5 rooms reserved at the hotel. We left the hotel to go to Ravenna via the trains. We left our Apple air pods in of one the rooms. The gentleman from the front desk (morning shift - sorry I don’t remember his name) on his own walked over the train station, tracked us down and surprised us to give us the air pods. I travel a lot and have never seen such exceptional service. Literally, because of his level of exceptional service from when we checked in to now, we decided to change our hotels (when we return from the cruise) to stay again at The Carlton because of his above and beyond attitude. Thank you for your hospitality and outstanding experience from the point of when we first checked in.

Excellent hotel in Venice. New, clean and modern room. Breakfast is good. About 10 mins walk from the train station but suggested to have porter service for carrying baggage because at least 2-3 bridges will need to cross. Charge is 5Euro per baggage

I do appreciated that the hotel upgraded my room. It’s such a big, clean, quiet, and luxury room. It’s also close to the river sothat you can see the river view directly. The location is so good, you can you go anywhere by feet or by public boat. The gentle man any beautiful mrs at front desk are so…o kind, nice, patient, and friendly. They will show you all around the Venice through the map. The breakfast is also. A beautiful girl, she can say a little Chinese. I do recommend this hotel! Nothing bad.

The location is very convenient. St. Mark's Square and the water bus stop are very close. The style is quaint, some old, and all the so-called sense of history. Ordinary rooms are small, especially the ones that take the elevator downstairs. Because the itinerary changed, I stayed one day in advance and only booked the general room at this location. Feeling bad, dark and narrow. In particular, the next-door tenant still carries a dog, and does not understand that pets are allowed. The dog was calling all night and called the front desk to solve it. The back trip changed to the third floor suite and it felt good. Relatively quiet, there is a motor sound from the ships on the river.
