Great location away from the crowds of Venice, beautiful beach good enough selection of restaurants in the area. The water bus and local transportation had you in the Venice city centre in less than 30 minutes. Buy a pass for the transportation- well worth it! Full breakfast and friendly staff. The room was nice, we had a side ocean view but did not use our balcony. Our only issue was asking for pods for the Illey coffee machine. We did not need decaf so we returned them and asked for an extra pod. They charged us 2 euros for a pod- which seemed petty. - direct beach access but the hotel only cabanas; we went down a bit and got 2 chairs and an umbrella for 30 euros for the day. The front desk gave us a very helpful map of Venice. Overall we enjoyed the location and hotel.

A fantastic hotel! The hotel is in a quiet location next to the beach. On entering the hotel we were met with modern and clean decor and the friendliest welcome from the staff. The rooms are spotlessly clean and had all we needed for a relaxed and comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable, we slept very well both nights. A big thank you to the staff who are at the heart of this hotel. As mentioned before, the welcome was delightful. The reception team told us about the island, transport and recommendations for local restaurants. We were also welcomed with a cold drink (we really appreciated this as it had been a long day of travelling). The breakfast was fantastic, a big range of foods and I really enjoyed trying chestnut honey for the first time, delicious. The team again had clearly worked hard to create such a delicious offering of food. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We appreciate the calm of the Lido, the beach is located at the foot of the hotel (be careful, however, in high season, the beach is only accessible if you reserve a beach cabin - for a fee). The hotel is clean, the rooms are cleaned every day (sheets and towels changed 👍🏻). The staff is very pleasant, polite, smiling, available. They almost all speak French (very well in fact) or English. A little nod to Antonella who takes care of us at breakfast, always smiling and in a good mood 😉😉 There are bus lines that take you to the S.M.E vaporetto station. in 5/10 min (depending on the crowd), it’s very practical.

This hotel is right on the beach and you can choose to book a private cabana or a sun lounge and umbrella from the Bagno Marconi next door. We opted for the sun lounges and what a wonderful stay we had.The staff here are wonderful and their attitude towards their guests is to be commended.The breakfast is also very good. I will return to Venice and will stay here again.Thank you to all at Hotel Petit Palais,I had an unforgettable time in Venice.

Almost everything about this hotel is fine. The breakfast has a wide choice, the staff is friendly and helpful and you get a welcome cocktail. Good large beds, a hot shower and beautiful sea views from certain rooms. The only thing for which this hotel does not deserve 4 stars are the mold spots in the shower, which is also very small. And we had ants in the room (3rd floor) which does not seem very hygienic. But all in all a nice hotel for a few nights. Keep in mind that Lido is a bit further away from the center of Venice and that everything you do in Venice is by boat (and can sometimes take a long time)

I really like this hotel, I sure will visit you again. The location was great, hotel check-in and check-out was smooth, fast, staff was very very friendly, breakfast was very good, I was so full every time :D our room was very confy, nice view, large window, bathroom was very clean and nice, everything was there what we needed, also a large closet for clothes, minibar (w didn't use it, but it was available), bed was confy, we liked it. And of course huge thanks for the special extras I asked you, thank you so much! And the tiny birthday cake was a surprise our last breakfast, thanks!! I really recommend this hotel !

A great place to spend some time in Venice . The reception staff was extremely helpful. They helped us with may useful informations. Thank you! The room was small but comfortable, but the bed was large (and comfortable). We received cocktails on the day of our arrival. The breakfast was great, with lots of choises and good coffee. Overall a great experience, hope to come back.
