A fantastic place in the heart of Venice, well-kept rooms, excellent comfort and a very comfortable bed. For breakfast there are two excellent bars with cakes and croissants within walking distance. Short distance vaporetto connections allow you to go anywhere with ease.

This room is exactly as advertised. It is perfectly located. No one attends the desk but questions are immediately responded to by email. Check in and check out we’re seamless . The room was immaculate. The windows/shutters we couldn’t figure out how to open so the room was very dark w/o the lights on. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely stay in Venice, we were there for one night and this hotel has a great location, nothing was too far away. Staff member who I cannot remember her name, sorry, she was brilliant, helped us when we arrived early and let us store our luggage after check out, very friendly. Room was lovely and clean, seemed to be a little issue with the shower leaking out and damaging the woodwork but other than that lovely room and perfect for a 1 night stay.

I opted for Locanda Cavanella as accommodation in Venice is expensive and I didn't need anything fancy. It looked like a great location at a price I could afford so I went for it. I am pleased I did as it was clean and comfortable and the location was indeed great. If you don't need a breakfast provided and don't need a manned reception desk then this place is great. Anna was available by phone and responded to me quickly when I walked past the WiFi code! As a downside the shower was very small and it was noisy when people came and went, it seemed the sound proofing is not great. I enjoyed my stay here.

An ideal location for a memorable stay in Venice. The room is clean and in the "Venetian" style... Close to all amenities and a stone's throw from the must-see places to visit in Venice (San Marco Square, the Doge's Palace,...) I sincerely recommend this typical establishment!
