The location is good. Room is big with scented woods smell. But no lift. Have to cross the bridge with heavy luggage too from train station. We have nice welcome drinks from the fridge daily with beer and juice. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful to give us information about the city.

We had a family holiday in August in this hotel, Santa Lucia station is across the bridge, ideal location, I really liked the breakfast and service, just like in the 19th century.

Very good place to stay during your stay in Venice, clean, cozy, very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfasts are very good and the beds are comfortable, and there is hardly any noise, which is appreciated when you arrive to rest. I recommend it without a doubt. Marco and Jack provided the best service I've experienced at a front desk ever.. and I've travelled pretty extensively. The location is approx 20 min walk from the Rialto Bridge, or 25 min to St Marks Square. Area is nice and quiet to sleep but near restaurants/gelato/cappuccinos/gift shops/next to self svc laundry. Breakfast is a buffet with a scheduled time to avoid crowding. Coffees and hot foods cooked to order. We had room T-5 and this had a Marshall Amp in it.. or so we thought, as it turned out to be the fridge! Very nice comfy bed (imho) and for an older building showed no sign of age through the corridors and certainly in your room. Would return here without hesitation!

Great location, near to the train and bus stations and many restaurants. Staff were very helpful with directions and carrying bags up tge stairs. Room was cold- they don't turn on the heat until later in Oct., but extra blankets were provided.

Recommended by independent sites and the hotel did not fail to meet this high mark. Me and my partner loved it in itself and where we could could visit. So convenient. Great breakfasts as well. Owner was so helpful giving us tip to visit quality restaurants with a local feel.
