We spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel last week, and for us it ticked all the boxes. Perfect location just 5 minutes stroll from St Marks Square, a small, luxurious & beautifully furnished & decorated 5* boutique hotel with incredibly friendly & helpful staff. We had a junior suite overlooking a peaceful square at the back, a lovely spacious room filled with natural light, extremely comfortable bed & great shower. Furnishings are a mix of traditional & modern, fabulous art & a light touch without too much gold & brocade. We only ate breakfast at the hotel which was excellent with fruit, pastries & hot food to choose from, all beautifully presented. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough & can’t wait to go back.

Dear ladies and gentlemen, Violino d'Oro and its employees were the best Hotel experience for the past years for us. It was all about an exceptional service, beautiful art and room details and made us feel VERY comforatble during our stay. This place is a 5 star hotel place for many different reasons. The location of the hotel is 1A too. Breakfast was exceptional. The room was beautiful, clean and VERY comfortable. We will recommend the hotel to family and to our best friends. Once we will be back in Venice Violino d'Oro is our FIRST choice. Thank you Claus & Regina Blohm

This is perhaps the best service I've ever had in a hotel. The staff were knowledgeable about the area, restaurants, directions, and were warm and clear. The hotel shows the owner's very careful selection of everything, from lamps to snacks to toiletries and furniture design. My wife wants to return "quarterly." The whole experience gets 5 out of 5 stars.
