We have been at the kumarraja palace on weekend for short trip from chennai. We enjoyed swimming pool on the arrival. It was good experience, clean water. Breakfast provided with wide variety. The hotel needs to improve management and maintenance. There was not water till 8am in the morning. After complaining multiple times, they switched on motor. Water supply discontinued after 30mins.

I had gone to vellore for a routine health check up at cm c vellore. It needed frequent travel to the hospital all thru the day. Also, a homelike food. The location of darling residency and top class food available there suited me just right.

The stay was pleasant, the breakfast was good. Being north indian i always have faced issues in relation to foods in vellore, but this hotel served foods as per my taste buds. The room allotted was sufficiently spaced, but there is immediate requirement of deep cleaning as well as renovation to get the status of luxury hotel.
