"Had the best experience at this gorgeous boutique hotel overlooking the stunning Vathy Harbour. Amazing rooms and facilities, cleanliness, delicious breakfast and the most helpful and attentive staff. Special thanks to Manager Antonio for all his recommendations and professionalism to the beautiful Morfo and Katherin seeing your smiling faces every morning made our day. Thank you to Joanna behind the scenes who help with our transfers and anything else we needed re booking and hotel information. Looking forward to seeing you all again and creating more memories in idyllic Ithaca."

"This establishment is made up of several recently renovated buildings. It has a lovely atmosphere. Our accommodation was very spacious: two beautiful bedrooms, a living room, a proper kitchen, a beautiful terrace (with a sea view), and a small balcony. It was clean and well-equipped; there was even a small dishwasher. We only had one problem: the oven didn't work; in fact, as soon as we turned it on, it tripped the circuit breaker. I reported it to the reception manager, but nothing seems to have been resolved. It's quite possible (and even highly recommended) to book directly through the Ithaca'Poem website. It's quick and easy to book by sending a deposit via bank transfer. And it's especially advantageous, as the price is significantly lower than what wholesalers offer. We had a wonderful time at this place and left with regret."

"This year was our 4th stay in recent years. Ithaca is the most beautiful place on earth and every year i say how Vathy is far more picturesque and breathtaking than Portofino in Italy. This hotel is beautiful. Its a calm, tranquil space with a short walk into Vathy for dinner by the sea. The rooms are very spacious and furnished like a french château. The pool area is peaceful and perfect for an afternoon chill. Breakfast is served in a stunning dining room and has everything you need. This hotel is truly 5 star, service, surroundings and decor. My favourite little place in the world...so shhh don't tell everyone or we may not get booked in!."

"200 for a view and peace Ok You have them and go And externally you say it will be perfect Somewhere it says breakfast, there is no breakfast of course so immediately more or less for its price Clean ok we had it While they had not informed us that a lady was entering the room, when we returned on the first day the bed had simply been made No other towels or anything Then why does she enter ??for the bed? They didn't even put shower gel There was a small bottle Not a clothesline for the beach clothes and you can't sit outside all day because there is no shade on the balcony In general just the view and your good mood for a vacation But not again"

"We stayed in the Gardenia Suite of the Perantzada Hotel for 3 nights and loved every minute of it - and we didn't want to leave. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and very welcoming. There is interesting art, artefacts and books everywhere and the view over Vathy bay is breathtaking. Our suite was very comfortable - with 2 rooms and a bathroom - and the design and attenton to detail is great. The breakfast was very generous and delicious, with fresh local and homemade produce - and no matter how many cups of green tea I asked there was always another cup on offer. The infinity pool and outdoor seating area is beautifully positioned and very inviting. The team are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. To the point where you feel like you're in the home of a very generous and kind friend. A hotel like this is very rare to find and one to cherish and keep coming back to. Thank you so much for everything and wishing you a great summer season!"

"Perfect location 3 min walk to Vathi square we had Garden Room on ground floor clean and tidy host was lovely good value relaxed atmosphere only negatives bar closed at 9pm if you want a drink when you get back from dinner order before you go and leave in room no kettle in room so no cuppa between 9pm and 8am there is a fridge in room so if known I would have brought own kettle and bits but bakery on square open at 7am so problem solved so only real negative was the bed very hard memory foam topper would have been appreciated"

"Reading the previous 2020 reviews for this accommodation, we chose it for our last year's vacation on the beautiful island of Ithaca. Unfortunately, we had not seen the 2 2023 reviews with a rating of 1-2/5, with which -after a holiday- we completely agree. We want to share our experience to inform and deter future tenants. Breakfast was basic: a few basic packaged foods in the fridge that were not renewed or enriched during the week of our stay. Nothing fresh and handmade except for 2 slices of fresh cake that they offered us one evening. The bed was unacceptable: sinking in the center and creaking strongly at the slightest body movement. My husband, with some back pain issue, was forced to sleep on the living room sofa for 5 nights. The cleanliness was minimal: the very kind Gerta emptied the trash every day, changed towels and sheets only once, I had everything in order but it didn't smell clean. Surely these things happen because an agency took over and there is no longer the personal care and hospitality that the residents received before Covid- this is no longer an excuse-. We expressed our complaints to the girl from the agency and we are still waiting for a call from the manager. Who had sent us a payment reminder by SMS 2 days before our departure. Impersonal... Too bad because it is in a beautiful spot with a view, with satisfactory equipment but with outdated aesthetics and no renewal especially in bed-rest items. No personal interest and care. Only for exploitation. How much more...??"
