Motel 6 Valdosta, GA - University

An amazing remodeling job with walk in shower, vessel sink, waterfall faucet. Very well done and surprisingly excellent. Customer service was great. Pet friendly and fenced property felt safer. Plenty of room to walk pet without disturbing other guests.

Front desk staff was amazing!!! Super helpful and allowed us to see the room before we paid for it. Cleanliness was top notch and not disappointing. Recently updated and renovated. Don’t let the outside of the motel fool you, the inside is worth it. No common hotel amenities, like shampoo and gel body wash. Super close to a lot of food options and a Walmart. We needed a budget friendly motel for 1 night and was not disappointed. If we are ever in the area again for a short stay, we will definitely be back.

Rooms are clean, staff is great. Does not tolerate the shenanigans that usually come along with other budget motels. Have stayed here several times. Never had any issues. The rooms have been recently renovated. Location is conveniently off the expressway, but far enough not to hear any highway noise. Descent seafood restaurant just down the street as well. Nice price. Clean rooms. Descent restaurants, what else could you ask for.

Valdosta's Motel 6 exceeded our expectations by a mile. Newish management is making serious improvements that other M6s around the country ought to copy. Spacious tile shower is better than yours. Room was perfectly clean, spacious and equipped with coffee pot, microwave and fridge. Grounds were tidy and well lit for night time security. Best of all, the management is really helpful and nice and truly dog friendly. Give 'em a try.

The pool wasn't in service and we asked for an extra pillow and were told the rooms were full so they couldn't get us one. There were clearly empty rooms. We counted at least six on our side of the hotel. We were also told to leave our dirty towels and wash cloths outside and they would replace them. Of course they weren't replaced. Our room was super hot when we first arrived because the AC was turned off. It took hours for our room to cool down.. ..I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay , the staff was very professional and courteous the rooms were amazing love the remolded look and amenities, the front desk staff were awesome being friendly going above and beyond our expectations.
