The hotel Puerta del Sur is in a paradise-like location, surrounded by tall trees and an nature-rich wetland. The view from the hotel rooms, lobby and breakfast room is amazing. Very clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Best Hotel I have ever stayed at in my 20 years business traveling.

Muito elegante e confortável, Bons quartos, equipe atenciosa, opções de lazer e muitos ambientes dentro do hotel para conhecer e frequentar. Possui um bom restaurante e bom café da manha. Fica um pouco longe do centro mas de carro é bem rápido. estacionamento amplo

I was disappointed with this hotel. The breakfast was a bare minimum, hardly a buffet. I dined in the restaurant Botanico for dinner and i found it expensive and not that good. The hotel is also a bit hidden from the center of town. In their defense, it appears the hotel is not finished. The elevator wasn’t working and there was plenty of construction going on. I am not usually a complainer, but I won’t stay here on my next trip to Valdivia.

******* lies again! This is a nice clean property with nice sized rooms, wide hallways and wooded area surrounding property and plenty of free parking.
No business center, bellman,or concierge.
This is a solid 3 star hotel and it is fine. Why ******* overrates this hotel is very misleading. Nicest part is the checkin desk has young university staff attending hotel mgmt school and actual try to help guests. Very refreshing!

Es un hotel muy bonito, queda cerca del centro de Valdivia y tanto el servicio como la limpieza del hotel son impecables. Las vistas del hotel no tienen comparación y el desayuno incluido es ideal.!

El hotel y el paisaje, que lo rodea es hermoso. Tiene un muelle privado con vista al humedal y la selva valdiviana. En lo práctico , me gustó mucho que en el pasillo había un dispensador de agua caliente y fría , que me permitió preparar la leche de mi bebé ,sin tener que acudir a la cocina o a recepción.
