Non per tutti ma di una bellezza sconvolgente. Non era la giornata ideale per passare una giornata in questo luogo incantato in quanto era nuvolosa e per nostra fortuna ancora fuori stagione, specifico che non abbiamo soggiornato ma solo usufruito della piscina , del trasporto da Lichthaus e di un ottimo pranzo, ma abbiamo potuto vedere tutta la struttura in quanto soli e accompagnati dal gentilissimo titolare Stefano. Cura nei dettagli, stanze bellissime, zona relax e massaggi con vista perdifiato, le Bubble Room, la roccia ripulita con il ristorante sopra con vista a 360 gradi dalle mangrovie all'oceano, possibilità di belle passeggiate sulla spiaggia bianca praticamente esclusiva .Bellissima esperienza in un luogo incantevole.

Pit stop durante un’escursione in barca siamo stati subito rapiti da questo eco lodge raffinatissimo completamente avvolto dalla natura in una delle più belle location di Watamu. Abbiamo pranzato nel bellissimo ed eccellente ristorante, poi ci siamo rilassati nello spazio piscina dopodiché non potevamo non chiedere al patron Stefano che insieme a Sara hanno creato quest’angolo paradisiaco, di visitare una delle loro bubble lodge. Che dire : di questa vacanza ci rimarrà solo il rimpianto di non aver visto le stelle e la natura all’alba ed al tramonto in una delle loro “bolle” .

Siamo stati qui per un pomeriggio in piscina e per un aperitivo al tramonto. Atmosfera incredibile e paesaggio suggestivo, il tutto incorniciato da un architettura ecosostenibile e attenta ai dettagli. Particolarissima la jacuzzi. Il cibo è di altissima qualità e il personale attento e preparato. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

We had booked 3 nights to end our honeymoon in Kenya and were impressed by the description, pictures and reviews online however the reality was very different. The rooms were dirty, there are rusty nails hanging out of the decking, the decking next to our suite was rotten, there are holes in the roof for monkeys to come in, the bed was infested with giant ants, there were holes in the mosquito nets and the staff are hostile and unfriendly. We were told that the reason for all of the above was that the hotel is an “eco lodge” which seemed dismissive of our concerns. When we eventually decided to leave a day early due to the multitude of problems (and the way the staff reacted when we raised them) the owner could be heard over the phone to the manager threatening that we needed to “keep quiet”. This hotel is in a beautiful setting and has the raw materials to be lovely but the maintenance/cleanliness of the rooms and the customer service left a lot to be desired, especially considering the price.

Abbiamo conosciuto questo posto grazie al consiglio di Monica di Mongiu Experience che è stata il top nell’organizzare i nostri itinerari in Kenya. Io e la mia compagna abbiamo trascorso una giornata intera in questo paradiso, location incredibile, curata nei minimi dettagli e che rappresenta perfettamente il concept di EcoLodge immerso nella natura. Dopo 6 giorni di safari, avevamo bisogno di una giornata di totale Relax e tra la Jacuzzi, la piscina con acqua di mare e la meravigliosa spiaggia sulle mangrovie abbiamo ricaricato le pile alla grande. Siamo stati coccolati dallo staff dall’inizio alla fine e con grande professionalità e cordialità Sara, la direttrice, ci ha dato il benvenuto guidandoci in un tour di questa meravigliosa struttura facendoci da subito capire di aver fatto la scelta giusta a dedicare una giornata della nostra vacanza in questo meraviglioso posto. Abbiamo pranzato nel ristorante che ha una vista mozzafiato, sia la pasta che i secondi erano cucinati perfettamente e il pesce freschissimo. Nel complesso, super super consigliato. Complimenti vivissimi per il progetto, consiglieremo questo posto e ci torneremo sicuramente.

Il Rock and Sea è un posto unico e speciale ,dove godere pienamente di relax e tranquillità circondati dalla lussureggiante vegetazione Africana .L hotel è un piccolo boutique resort con sole 5 camere ,due delle quali bolle panoramiche :La piscina è di acqua salata è dotata di Jacuzzi e comodi divani per prendere il sole . Il ristorante e situato in posizione rialzata e da qua si gode una vista spettacolare. Un posto lontano dal caos dove abbiamo trascorso una giornata indimenticabile !

We had to make a last minute booking because of mishap on previous travel plans. We called and luckily they had availability Having not much expectation, we were impressed by what we got. My husband and I stayed at the amazing Imperial Banda...it was awesome we almost conceived a 3rd born. Beautiful views of the sea right from the room. Gazing at the stars by night. My boys stayed right next at the King suite Banda. We all did not want to leave when our time was up! We shall be back. Did I say the staff are amazing? And the owner Stephan was at hand as well to assist with anything literally anything

Rock and Sea è veramente il luogo ideale per chi ama la natura, il relax e il buon cibo! Noi siamo stati accolti dal proprietario Stefano, una persona molto gentile e super disponibile. Il pranzo è stato indescrivibile, ottimo cibo e ottima qualità. Complimenti davvero a tutto lo staff.. spero di tornare presto e lo consiglio a tutti voi ☀️
