"An absolute disaster. An ant trail running along the wall through the room. A cut-off bottle of tissues in the bathroom window. Pillows that hadn't been white for ages. The bathroom vent was yellowed and moldy… We checked out after 30 minutes and went to another hotel. At check-in, they neither apologized nor offered an alternative… I've personally never experienced anything like it."

"Good afternoon! I'm currently vacationing in Pattaya. The Mera Mara Hotel is a 4-star hotel in Pattaya. We arrived on March 11, 2025. We checked in and everything was fine. Today, after 11 a.m., we went for a walk around the city. We returned from our walk in the evening. We went to our room and discovered that the safe was open. Our passports were, thank God, still there, but $600 was missing. We immediately went to reception. They're sorry, of course, but we're not above it. We'll contact anyone. We've gone to the police to file a report. Under no circumstances should you stay at this hotel. Run as far as possible from it. They're not resolving the problem. We have no idea what to do now. We're staying until May 26, 2025. Russian cards aren't working. We have no money. It's absolutely terrible."
