We visited the resort post Christmas. Pros - Location, location, location - bang on the beach. Clean beach with white sand and no crowds The Superior room we stayed in, was nice, with a beach view. AC, hot water etc was functional. There are taps at the entry to the rooms to wash off the sand. The open air dining area overlooking the beach is nice. Service is good & prompt, food is good & freshly made. There are adequate sites nearby for sight seeing. There are a couple of good restaurants in Kumta offering local fare. Cons - Food does not include local cuisine, only North Indian fare. Dining tables & chairs could have been cleaner. Parking area is not paved & cars get dirty quickly with mud. There is ongoing construction at the resort.

We visited kumta for a family vacation and stayed t 5 mile beach resort which is nestled right on the 5 mile stretch of beach. The resort itself is very well maintained and provides spacious beach view rooms as well as tented accommodation. The rooms including bathrooms are hygienic with good maintenance by the staff. The resort is managed by mr. Nagaraj and his staff who are very polite, take care of your hospitality and assist you with everything you need. The highlight of this place is the proximity of the beach which is just 200 meters from the rooms and one can walk to the water in a minute or two. The beach itself is very clean and is not visited by too many tourist which makes it a nice and quite place to spend a few hours. A very basic breakfast is cooked at a small kitchen in the resort and provided to the guest. Few snacks can also be cooked for the evening upon request. Since there is no inhouse restauraurant at this resort, the staff provide a menu from which the guest have to choose and order the food which the staff procure from a nearby restaurant and serve to the guest. The menu is limited but has multiple north, south indian, tandoor and chinese food options. Overall experience of stay was brilliant.

Me with my wife and two kids stayed in this property from 15th to 19th October 2024.The check in was super fast even at 01.00 am.( Had a tiring 10 hour road journey from Bengaluru). The room view was awesome with Kudle beach and Arabian sea with lush greenery of karnataka coast being an eye candy. Staff behaviour, room cleanliness and amenities were world class. The atmosphere was serene, breakfast spread as well as dining facilities were fantastic. The restaurant view was something to Cherish forever. A well maintained swimming pool and game room which our kids enjoyed very much was cherry on the cake.The desk was very helpful in arranging our local tours. Overall a very satisfying and memorable stay at Kudle Beach View Resort .

I stayed at this hotel for a night on my way to the Jog Falls. I had come to Kumta from Delhi by Mangla Express. I took a non-AC room on the first floor. It was decently furnished and the bathroom had good fittings. The Hotel's restaurant only serves vegetarian food. A small shack next door provides non-veg options and liquor is available from a wine shop next to the hotel. Overall, a good experience.
