Long and honest review. First time we have been to an all-inclusive resort so we can’t compare it to any other of those. The resort is lovely. I only gave 4 stars because there are some areas that could use some improvement but I think you have that with most places. We stayed in a beach front sanctuary room, #60…this building is new and we loved it. To me it was the best view of the ocean in the whole resort. We had a bed and 2 chairs on the balcony. It was so hot the first few days that no matter how cool you had the a/c it was still not cold like we like it, I suggest to bring an extra fan. Especially for the bathroom, and if you shower at night…bring a battery operated light as you can’t see well in the outdoor shower. The outdoor shower water never got hot, it was just warm so if you are sun burnt and it’s raining you will freeze in the shower . Bring air freshener for bathroom also. There is a water station and ice at the bottom of the steps (ice is around behind it)…I wouldn’t have known about it, if I wouldn’t have seen someone else getting it. They only brought 2 towels and 2 wash cloths each day and some days we did tours, etc and had to shower more than once. The rooms were cleaned around lunch, almost every time we went back to the room for a break from the heat/beach they would be in there…not sure why they didn’t start earlier and it seem to take them awhile. Mini bar (fridge) was stocked daily. Everyone was friendly and spoke but I only felt like a few people was friendly then everyone else…no one went above and beyond for us other than our beach guy, I can’t remember his name but it started with a T. I asked for a watermelon drink and he made it happen with fresh watermelon. The housekeeping lady is the only one that told us Happy Anniversary and nothing else happened, nothing to make our day feel special. Our beach guy brought our food and drinks to us daily, except for his days off. The Bali beds and lounge chairs were nice, not having to fight for a chair or place at the beach. They need a fan in the top of the Bali beds. Beach towels were provided daily but sometimes they smelt bad. There was few people out on the beach in the water but most of the time, it was like having the place to yourself. The walk to dinner was dark, there is lighting but some areas not so much. The food was good but sometimes inconsistent at lunch, etc…we would order burgers and one would have no cheese and bacon and the other one had cheese and toppings no bacon. I asked for fries for the first two days and never got them until the 3rd day. Kinda like you got what they wanted you to have no matter what you ordered. Breakfast and lunch is the same all week so got old, we ending up eating a few days for lunch in the restaurant to get something different than the beach grill food. Be advised their menu online isn’t the same as when you get there either. And the portions of the wings are small. The burgers and hot dogs, quesadillas, and Jamaican beef patt
