Under pillow -ed old fashioned room and some odd details like a key with a plastic holder uncharacteristic of a 4* hotel, Inner vista in a congested parking lot. Very helpful staff, essentially a one man show without a 24 hours reception or concierge. After ours you sneak through the unguarded patio car park which though hotel owned as it seems it is separately charged. Basic drawbacks of this hotel are: Interesting outmoded with unequal facilities -> large bedroom, pseudo matrimonial bed with two adjacent straw beds united, of varied flatness and leanings -> outmoded bathroom with Ideal Standard Linda fixtures, acrylic bathtub with shower enclosute clumsily fitted, slippery with mo safety handles or bars, fixture to lowly attached for shower use, insecure habitat -> interesting old fashioned window panes pertaining to an interwar country hotel -> garage view for most rooms I presume-> overornamented with pictorial art of not partucular aesthetic taste along the lounge corridors, little of lounge. Otherwise it is an axtraordinary building from the outside, discreet, charming and unobtrusive.
