Holiday Inn & Suites Philadelphia W - Drexel Hill

I thought this was the hotel we stayed at previously but it wasn’t… so we had no other options at that time. The location was good for the Cincinnati jazz festival but the hotel itself reminder me of a motel. Need to be updated

The hotel was good the only thing I didn’t like was the pool had to have reservations and bout time I got there it was no more slots available and the bar and restaurant was closed. I also didn’t like how I had to ask for a new comforter because the other one had something on it and the one they gave me was this yellow itchy blanket it was not good. But I did love that they had dove products in the bathroom and the shower was nice.

The hotel was fine, but my bathroom and that of a family member had drainage problems in the sink and the bath tub. The drainage of sink was pretty disgusting after brushing teeth. Additional, some rooms receive complimentary breakfast and others do not. We had three adjourning rooms, each the same size with two queen beds, and one received complimentary breakfast - kinda confused me. Lastly, when two of the rooms were cleaned, one did not get replacement face towels and the other did not get replacement hand towels. During the room cleaning, the floors were not vacuumed.

I hosted my 65th birthday celebration at the hotels Streetlight Kitchen and Bar. The event was a success. The event Staff was very accommodating in a professional way The service and the food was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place. It’s like a hidden gem in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

Absolutely floored at how nice this hotel was, especially for the price and location. Customer Service was 15/10 Very comfortable rooms. Restaurant was great with delicious food. Breakfast was a small but good buffet. First time I ever saw a hotel with a pool that was wheel chair user accessible. You also got the pool by appointment so you would get the entire pool to yourself. We went on a Saturday and there were two weddings and 2 party events but our floor was dead quiet all night. The hotel lobby space was big enough too that it never felt too crowded or anything.

The hotel is very disappointing. We have stayed in a VRBO and two hotels in the last month and I have given stellar reviews for all of them. This place, however, does not compare the the price we had to pay. We stayed in a king suite and the bed is extremely comfortable and pillows are wonderful. However, the A/C unit in the master bedroom sounded like a airplane taking off every 15 minutes. I turned it off and it still sounded like I was outside of the airport.. Therefore, I slept on the pull out in the Living Room. The one day we were in our room until 11:00 housekeeping did not return to clean or replenish towels. There were only a handful of cars in the parking lot from Monday until tonight (Friday) so they couldn't have had an overload of rooms to clean so we went to front desk to get clean towels. The floor that is linoleum in the kitchen area I assumed clean until my sandal was stuck to the floor. When I used a Lysol wipe on the floor, one sweep across and completely black. No paper towels in the kitchen so you have to use a bath towel to dry your hands. The room and bathroom is very nice though. Only one elevator working the time we were here, even though it didn't really matter since I think we were the few staying here. Ice Machine broken. Breakfast cost a fortune it is an order from menu. If you don't mind spending $12 on two eggs, bacon and two pieces of toast. Buffet is only on Saturday and Sunday for $16/each. To go into the pool is by appointment only. We have family in this town so this was chosen for convenience. It is a beautiful hotel and fairly new just not accommodating like you would think for $1,500 for four nights.

The hotel is well maintained with a great restaurant. I was actually pleased with my stay until I had the misfortune of meeting Keith at the Front Desk. Keith is one of those types of people who think they have power and loves to say no. He's rude, disrespectful and apparently doesn't know how to treat a Diamond Elite when they stay there. He tried to deny me something that I knew I was entitled to. He attempted to prove me wrong only to be shot down by a manager. I'd advis the hotel to move him into a position that did not require him to interact with guests. I would never stay there again as long as Keith is employed there. How many other guests have been victimized by Keith and never said anything.

Great hotel in a fantastic location and amazing service. Rooms are very nice, clean, beds are super comfy. Hotel is short walk away from a trolley train station, which we took both days when going to Philadelphia city centre. I really cant recommend this place enough, fantastic, thank you.

I would never stay here they ripped me off for $598.54 I had an appointment on October 10 for open-heart surgery at theUniversity of Pennsylvania.At 9:am on October the 9th I was called and my surgery was canceled due to emergencies on the tenth.I called the Hotel immediately on October the 9th and told them of the situation.I Ask them if I could rebook for the October 22,23 and 24th even if I had to pay something for making changes even one day or something like that.They said no there’s no refund so I lost $600 and they told me if I wanted to rebook another time I’d have to pay again.I even had a letter sent to them from the University of Pennsylvania stating the reason they had to cancel my Operation until October 23rd. I am not happy the way I was treated.
