From start to end enjoyed our stay!! Excellent location. Lovely room with river view. Enjoyed the spa bath and the dinner was next level. Will highly recommend property to anyone.

The overall service was great except for the fact, that they have forgotten twice to give us extra towels for my little people... Only my Towel were replaced the following day...I would rate the service,and cleanliness as well as the food and location/view at a 110%

Thanks for having us at moonriver, owner is very nice, super friendly. We felt very welcomed. Room was top. Lots of cats, dogs, parrots and a monkey. The kids loved it. Great breakfast. Unfortunately, we arrived late and left early, otherwise it would have been awesome to benefit from the awesome yard and some quiet time.

A great choice for an overnight stay. Safe parking and everything you need to have a good stay. Investing in better solar power during loadshedding will be a great advantage especially for the morning breakfast.

Good stop in town and close enough to walk to the Red Ox restaurant which is definitely worth a visit; Host (Morne) was very friendly and helpful and even spoilt us with a packed breakfast for our early ride out the next morning (he got up a 05h00 to make fresh toasted sandwiches for us to take with). Rooms were comfortable with a massive bathroom (shower and spa bath).

The breakfasts are wonderful with a selection of cereals, good coffee and hot options. Our room was comfortable with a well stocked mini bar. The bathroom is out of this world with the biggest jacuzzi tub I've ever seen! The hosts own a variety of exotic animals and birds which make the garden experience lovely. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, sorting out our parking and making our stay very pleasant.

The accommodation was excellent. The location was central and beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the manager(Louw) went over and above to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely return to the guest house for our next visit.
