The nature is very wild in this place and you will be able to see a lot of animals in the garden. The service was fine. Be prepared for a lot of mosquitoes and flies, so you would want to have mosquito spray close by. We had chipmunks, monkeys, peacocks and lizards close to our room. The pool and garden were just fine. The hotel of older age, but with a lot of special charm from this fact and the dark wooden furniture.

Antiga casa do governador, é um hotel super tranquilo, cheio de simpáticos esquilos. Staff acolhedor. A casa principal é lindissima. Pequeno almoço muito bom. Recomendo. Apreciem os macacos que por vezes aparecem junto ao canal holandês.

Sehr schönes Hotel, freundliche Begrüßung mit leckeren Drinks, tolle große Zimmer, fantastisches Bad, einladender Balkon. Unser einziges Hotel der Rundreise mit Zimmerservice und Handtuchwechsel. Toller Pool mit Handtüchern und Liegen, wenn auch etwas wenige für die Anzahl der Gäste. Viele Tiere auf dem Gelände. Massage war auch gut, Frühstück super, einmal gab es sogar Buffet! Großer Parkplatz, dürfen nach dem Checkout noch den restlichen Tag im Hotel bleiben. Zentrale Lage. Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die Preise im Restaurant.

Hemos pasado mi hija y yo 2 días en este impresionante hotel,con unas instalaciones, habitación triple de ensueño. La piscina es enorme rodeada de una vegetación exhuberante.El desayuno es muy muy completo y delicioso. El personal es sumamente atento y agradable. Es un lujo de lugar que está cerca de la calle de restaurantes y tiendas y playa.lo recomiendo 100/100. Volvería mil veces.La decoración de todo y la limpieza es muy buena. Gracias Mar y Noa Jingxi. Nice hotel in a very nice little village on the beach. Plenty of cosy corners where you can relax. We stayed in a spacious room with a nice balcony overlooking the garden. Very quite environment just few steps away from the restaurants/bar/shops area. The beach is also very near, 8-10 minutes walking away.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cet établissement et tout était parfait : la chambre avec sa terrasse, la gentillesse du personnel et leur bienveillance, la piscine, la situation géographique à 2 pas de la plage… rien à redire si ce n’est MERCI 🙏

Красивый отель с большой территорией. Находится в 10 минутах ходьбы от океана. Номера чистые. Каждый день прибирали. Душевая отгорожена от унитаза дверью, ванная не залита. Насекомых никаких не было. Два бассейна: взрослый и детский. Завтрак: есть что выбрать. Фрукты, грабы в кляре, сосиски, панкейки, овощи, рис, рыбка иногда, папая, ананасы и бананы. Чай, кофе и сок. Тосты с джемами. Wi-fi нас радовал. Есть озеро. И живешь как в джунглях. У бассейна на лежаках полотенца. По территории бегают пальмовые белки, ящерки, один раз видели большую ящерицу. Обезъянки живут прям на территории отеля. Алкоголь в баре платный, но брали и пиво и коктейли. Кушали в кафе разных, потому что они от отеля в 4 минутах ходьбы. Рядом с отелем автобусная остановка. И на 350 автобусе сразу можно до форт Галле доехать. До черепашьего пляжа ок 2 км, мы пешком иногда ходили, иногда на тук туке. На английском говорят и написано все на английском.

What a perfect stay for the first leg of our Sri Lankan holiday. Our room was a good size and well equipped. The veranda looked out over a very clean and perfect temperature pool surrounded by extremely comfortable sun loungers. With the lake and beautifully manicured gardens, it offers a peaceful location to relax. You can imagine the main hotel as its former residence to the Governor in all it's elegant grandeur. The staff are friendly and helpful. Perfect location for a saunter to shops, cafes and restaurants. However the highlight has to be THE most delicious vegetable curries with fish or chicken - ask for 'no bones'. Not only is it THE best Sri Lankan curry we have had but great value. Head to the Jungle Beach with a tuk tuk - steep climb but worth it. Sunbeds, umbrellas and café. Even a nice clean loo there!
