This hotel is the most lively one in the town. There are few restaurants around it and few people. However, there is an apple base nearby and there are many apple trees on the mountain. Every household has apples on the trees, but no one picks them.

We arrived at breakfast at 9.30 - after recommending from the receptionist (earlier would be a hassle due to many people). But all basic food were missing (bread, eggs, cheese, croissants, fruit, etc) it was very difficult to get anything and the waiters were busy cleaning up.

Fantastisk flott plass med god service og trivelig personale. Å dra til Ulvik er Norges reklame de luxe. Fabelaktig beliggenhet ved sjøen og egen strandlinje.
God mat og drikke får du servert.
Det som trakk litt ned var badet. Ikke av det nyeste, og svært lite belysning. Hadde også litt større forventning til innendørs bassengområde.

Amazing views. Hotel staff was super helpful amd courteous. Rooms are clean but a little dated and bathroom was a not in the best condition but the views and convenience more then make up for that. Highly recommend.

Het uitzicht vanuit onze kamer op de begane grond was fenomenaal. De kamer prima in orde. Jammer genoeg waren er erg veel grote reisgezelschappen die iedere avond binnen kwamen (met veel lawaai) en die ‘‘s ochtends de ontbijtruimte volledig innamen. Het ontbijt was prima, voldoende keuze. Diner hebben wij slechts één avond genuttigd. De reden: echt geen goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Wij betalen graag voor een goede maaltijd maar jammer genoeg was het eten koud toen we het kregen en de groente was nog bijna rauw. In de omgeving zijn weinig restaurants te vinden dus werd het daarna brood en beleg uit de supermarkt. Verder was het personeel vriendelijk.
