The hotel is big, the rooms are in Tatami style, but located at a relatively far away from Uji station, you can take taxi to there. Also, you can take 10-min walk along the river to Byodo-in Omotesando. There are numbers of matcha restaurants and cafe. Staff in hotel are hospitality and nice, especially the staff who can communicate with us in English. I had a great day and onsen in the hotel.
