Abhaig Boutique B&B - Small & Luxurious in a Great Location!

This Bed & Breakfast is so charming! Viv and Steve are the kindest, sweetest people and they made us feel welcomed and cozy right from the start with homemade cake (which was delicious!) when we arrived after a long, rainy drive. The B&B is so cozy and intimate and we had an amazing time chatting with Viv & Steve as well as the other couple that was staying at the same time as us. The room itself was well equipped with everything we might need and had cute local products that we were able to sample while we were there. And the bed was so comfy! All of the food was amazing! From the filling and wholesome breakfast to the picnics that we got and took with us to explore Skye. We couldn’t say enough nice things about this place or our time there. We will definitely be back if we return to Skye and we highly recommend for anyone travelling to the area.

We had such an amazing experience while staying at Abhaig for our Skye trip. Viv and Steve are wonderful hosts and they have created a very special experience in their BnB. We stayed in the room in the main house and I cannot fault it, the room/bathroom were comfortable, clean and we had the best sleep. Breakfasts were amazing and Viv went above and beyond to accommodate for me being gluten free. Our only wish was that we stayed a few nights longer, if you are going to Skye this is honestly the place you should stay.

Such a beautiful place set in the landscape of Skye. Viv and Steve are really really lovely and made us feel welcome and we also met Archie! No detail was left missed. The rooms were clean cosy and so beautifully decorated. The breakfast was superb! We also had the most amazing homemade cakes everyday including banana bread, lemon drizzle and more. This was such a lovely addition we really appreciated. Honestly one of our best stays :) B&T

We loved Viv and Steve's hospitality on our Skye holiday! Viv's food is simply outstanding - the breakfast granola reminded me of Ottolenghi in London, and her cakes (Lemon one day, Raspberry the next) are heavenly. Her food recommendations (for local Skye restaurants and cafes) were also exceptional! Our room was large, comfortable, clean, and homely (the slippers provided were a nice touch!) We also met Archie, their chocolate lab over our stay of two days. All in all, an unmissable spot in your Skye adventure - we will certainly return!

We had the most wonderful stay at Abhaig on the Isle of Skye. The bothy was beautifully decorated with a fantastic view of the cliffs. Everything was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable. Viv and Steve were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed chatting with them both. Viv helped us plan our days and had excellent recommendations that made our trip even more special. I would not hesitate to recommend Abhaig and I hope we get to come back to Skye and stay again one day!

We recently stayed at Abhaig and cannot recommend it highly enough. We stayed in the bothy (An Bothan Dubh) where the views were fantastic. We were treated to an amazing sunset on our first evening - made even more enjoyable with a tasty picnic platter ordered in advance from Viv. In fact, all the food was delicious with great breakfast options, and every day we came back to a lovely home-baked treat. Communication with Abhaig was faultless and when they had a late guest cancellation for the day before our stay, we were offered first refusal on the additional date - and luckily we were able to adjust our plans. We really appreciated the extra night - and got to see that sunset! Viv and Steve are amazing hosts and Abhaig is a beautiful space, where every detail has been considered. The dressing gowns were roomy, the towels were fluffy, the toiletries were lovely and, as book lovers, it was a treat to browse the books in the bothy. Viv and Steve gave us so many useful tips and ideas about places to visit, what to expect from our walks and recommendations for local places to eat and drink. We went to the Ferry Inn and Burr Coffee shack (on the way to the Quiraing) and loved both. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough to time to check out all their suggestions on this trip, so we’ll just have to come back to Abhaig again!
