New Menu We had lunch today and yet again a fabulous menu. Tarte Tatin with Roquefort and local honey amazing. Short ribs that fell of the bone and that was for starters. Followed closely by Coq au vin and mash to die for. A loin of venison with a blackberry sauce that was amazing and perfectly portioned. Finally a treacle tart that was glorious. Well done everyone a fab winter menu.

Dan and his team did a great job in looking after our table of 8 and 1 dachshund, the food was delicious and the service was very attentive. It was cosy in the corner of the bar and a roaring fire added to the ambience. We all ordered different dishes which were all well presented and tasty. We will definitely be returning and would recommend that people give it a visit.

Just spent two nights at The White Hart, principally to attend a Wake. Could not fault a single thing, the room was superb, good breakfast and enjoyed an evening meal with friends in the cozy bar area. The wake worked really well but we particularly wanted to thank every member of staff we dealt with for the professional and very friendly service we received. A credit to everyone concerned.

We stayed for one night for our Anniversary with an evening meal. On arrival we was greeted and helped by a friendly young man. Our room was a superior double which was lovely, spacious and very clean the bed was real comfy and a good night sleep was had. Downstairs for drinks lovely seating areas with two wood fires. All the staff were pleasant made us feel so welcome James who served most of our drinks was a polite respectful young man very nice. Food, well that was amazing lamb confi which just melted in your mouth and Hungarian pork pie was delicious looking at other tables their food looked good too. Would highly recommend to anyone to go eat their. Full English Sunday morning finished the weekend off a trea. Lovely Inn and brilliant staff made it a lovely weekend to remember cant wait to go back.

Ate here last night and was absolutely blown away! The food was AMAZING, the service was AMAZING! Everything was perfect !! We had calamari, pi pi prawns, ham hock, lamb, chicken and salmon Would defo come again and thoroughly recommend this restaurant

As always. A perfect visit. We come every year to celebrate our anniversary and this year we decided to stay the night too. The accommodation is lovely. Clean and fresh. We stayed for breakfast and Sunday lunch which was amazing. The staff are all lovely and attentive and nothing is any trouble. We never have no complaints. Keep up the fantastic work ☺️
