This hotel is just beside the lake pichola and gives a tremendous view of Lake. Loved the service and stay there. The staff are polite and nice. The lakeside view gives an amazing view in the morning and we can enjoy tea or coffee on the balcony.Totally happy with hotel

Lake pichola hotel is in a prime position in the centre of town. We had a room with a balcony that looked directly out to the City Palace. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the city. Up on the rooftop is an excellent restaurant and a short stroll away another one overlooking both the City Palace and the Lake Palace. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend!

This place isn't perfect, but I absolutely loved it. The location is superb, right on the lake and easy walking to restaurants, cafes & shops through the old town, as well as some of the local sights. It's a little rundown, but remains charming. I took the sunset boat ride and it was definitely worth it. Much better than the public one I took earlier in the day. The rooftop restaurant has spectacular views and very good food. There's a free hotel tuk tuk to/from the temple where your driver/taxi drops you. If you couldn't book a lake view, ask about rooms 97, 98, 99 at checkin, which are lakeside on the ground floor and don't appear to be included in their online booking options.

Lake Pichola has one of the best locations in Udaipur with all the rooms facing the beautiful lake. The staff is courteous, helpful and very polite. They go out of their way to help and support the guests. Added feature of a serene and beautifully planned restaurant with amazing food and great service is an icing on the cake.

What a fantastic place. Has lovely views from the room, from the terrace and from everywhere else at the property. The room is also very cosy and comfortable and the cute balcony is awesome. I had made bookings for 2 nights but due to some exigency I had to restrict it to 1 night. The food etc was also good here. I would highly recommend it. The only downside could be that the place is not accessible by car and you have to get down at a nearby temple and take an auto from there. The hotel also has complimentary auto service to the nearest car park though we did not find it available at many times. On the day of check out I requested for a late check out which was denied. I feel that the hotel could have made little more effort to accommodate late check out for a couple of hours. But all in all it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again.

A historic hotel with the charm of the past. Rooms with a lake view not to be missed. Clean. Well furnished. In an excellent location. Friendly but not intrusive or servile staff. The restaurant on the terrace was not up to the price paid but the view you could enjoy was worth the visit. Frequented by a mixed clientele of tourists in transit and good Indian youth. We really liked the general atmosphere

Service good view from hotel room to Lake is good enjoying Lake faceing room and old city culture Staff is good management also good Mainly near arround from amarai hath and hanu *** gat also 400 mts distance from gangour gath and jagdish temple

Went there for dinner . Had a decent experience with good food and nice pretty Udaipur and lake pichola view. Work can be done on cocktails .however staff was friendly , service was bit late but the whole property is beautiful and musicians were amazing .
