Seriously concerned about this establishment. Stayed here for one night for a Bama game. There were dirty wash cloths hanging on the shower curtain, used q tips on the floor in the bathroom and the soap dispenser was empty. In the lobby, tried to make my son a piece of toast and the bread was stale and moldy. At that point I got nauseous and made a quick exit. I called Hilton Honors and submitted an online comment but with no reply.

We made reservations to visit Tuscaloosa for Friday and Saturday nights. Nice location off of the downtown area. Front desk Frankie very helpful in checking us in. Coffee in the lobby very good early in the morning. Many local restaurants within a few blocks.

Room was decent, customer service sub-par and very slow, breakfast was piss poor. They were out of everything decent and the rest looked gross. Our Bathroom door was fancy, and nearly impossible to open or close . Out of my hundreds of stays at Hilton properties this one wasn’t the worst but was the most disappointing!

Horrible experience. When we arrived the dishes in the dishwasher were still dirty from the previous guest. There was garbage still under the sink. The shower head was filthy, the room was dirty. The staff did not care that we asked 3 times to get the room properly cleaned. When they did finally come to clean, they didn’t make both beds, they left the coffee stains on the counter. The General Manager was no where to be found. We will never return or recommend this hotel to anyone.

I arrived at 7pm to check in and was not able to. I had a reservation but they were not able to give mea room. They did not have a room available and did not know when the room would be available for us. We returned at 10pm and we were able to go to our room. Another family was checking-in in front of me and was told the same thing, come back several hours later to get your room. They did not completely clean it. The garbage was not taken out. It was full under the sink and smelled. I had to take it out myself. There was garbage in the bathroom as well. They only give you liquid dish soap to was your hands with in the bathroom, not hand soap. l asked for some and that’s what I was told. I asked for extra pillows and they were not able to give me any saying they were full and that was why. I was able to get an extra blanket. They were clearly under staffed and not able to clean all the rooms needed on time.

My Mother, daughter and myself stayed at this hotel when we went UA to watch a gymnastics meet. My family stayed there in November for the last home football game as well. It was not clean but we decided to give it a second chance. Upon arrival they would not accept my Hilton Honors number for my points, screw the water and snack. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the campus and walking to restaurants. The pool was closed, no notice. They were updating the rooms and there was no notice about that either. The lobby bathroom was closed and when they opened the women’s it was filthy. Our “suite/kitchenette” had no silverware. We had to ask for sheets(sofa bed), we had 3 in a room with one king bed. We never had towel replacements unless we went to the front desk every morning. We placed our old towels outside our room and they were never picked up. They sat there 3 days. The breakfast lady was more interested in talking to a coworker than putting food out. It wasn’t busy. The toaster has been broken since at least November so they had a 2 slice cheap one in which one side didn’t work. My Mom got a bagel stuck in it and the worker used a metal knife to pull it out and the heating element as well. Yes it was plugged in🙄. Regardless, no one was nice expect the man at checkout. He was the only one to actually speak. In a nutshell we will never return to this hotel. Management never answered our concerns. I understand you get what you pay for but this wasn’t a 1 star hotel.

We arrive to our room to find the a/c is broke, torn apart, tools left behind, and trash. We call front desk and are told there is nothing they can do. Nearest hotel to transfer us is an hour away in Birmingham (mind you it's not even 12:00 yet). There was a roach in the shower and the bathroom light was broke. The entire hotel is pretty grubby, dirty, and worn out. Carpet in the halls is gross. After I pitched a fit about the unacceptable room, an hour later they call and tell us we can move to a no show room. Kicker... They ask us to bring the sofa cushions with us. If this is how you treat a Lifetime Diamond member, you can keep it. This hotel is taking in mega money this weekend with rooms going for over $2000/night but they can't bother to clean the carpets and ensure rooms have working a/c. Or spray for bugs. I can't beleive this hotel is allowed to carry the Hilton brand.

Property has a policy to take no cancellations on home game weekends. It took 3 phone calls to find this out. I was told after the first 2 calls that a manager would reach out to me. Didn’t receive a call back over the period of 24 hours. My daughter tested positive for Covid and we had to cancel our trip. I asked them to check how many nights I stay a year at Hilton properties (over 155 per year) and there wasn’t an attempt to give any assistance by either the property or Hilton corporate. I’ve been a member since 2008. This is disappointing Hilton.

When we arrived , the desk clerk acted offended that as diamond members we asked for our water and the digital checkout was not working when we tried to check out. We went to the front desk to check out and no o e came to the desk, therefore we left. We tried calling g several times to check out and no k e ever answered the phone. Disappointed in our stay there.
