Very well positioned hotel within the city. Breakfast quality was good

The hotel is superb. The location is fantastic, very close to city centre and the station. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Top class on all aspects.

Central location easy access to extensive old town. Station and buses within walking distance. The hotel itself is very quiet and the staff are very helpful and speak good English. The rooms were modern, clean and reasonably spacious and serviced everyday if required. The small road outside looks quiet but can be a little noisy if you are a light sleeper. I imagine the street noise goes away if you are facing the river. There is a restaurant and river terrace on the ground floor and the hotel are keenly focused on the restaurant and its customers when it is open (Tuesday to Saturday) . Good continental breakfast offering each morning included in the room price. Staff were lovely and were very helpful throughout our week long stay. Would stay again if visiting Tubingen.

This is a bare minimum motel with premium hotel price with zero amenities. This is not a place to stay for those accustomed to free water bottles or coffee maker in the room or even to make hot water in the room for tea or coffee. One needs to pay up for everything. Room is small with bare Necessities. Front desk experience is not great. Breakfast is bare minimum. I would not stay at this place ever. I understand this is a university town, probably built to accommodate them.

The staff were rude and incompetent. My room was very basic, no tea or coffee facilities in the room or bottle opener, even though I requested one on 2 occasions. I decided not to use the hotels bike (30Euros per day) as it was poorly maintained and helmets weren't available. There was no English tv station available for the 3 nights I stayed. I was unable to control the temperature in my room. The front desk controlled the air conditioning. I had to call the front desk for bathrobes. I decided to change hotels as my stay at Domzil was a complete misery. Management refused to refund my last 2 days. When I said I would store my luggage in the room they decided to send my agent the refund.Never apologising for the staff's attitude towards English speaking tourist. Avoid this 2 star hotel
