Clean room, good location in the middle of town, a nice (but small) onsen but the cherry on top was the delightful lady at the front desk who was lovely to talk to and also helped me tie up yukata (something I'm terrible at). It was great to meet someone as friendly as that after weeks on the road.

The landlady is Korean. There are many Korean employees. The hot spring, futons, and hospitality were all right. However, the cleaning of the room and the serving of meals were somewhat sloppy, the dresser didn't close, and there were bugs in the light and they were having a field day in the room. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't delicious either. It lacked impact and didn't have the feel of Yamagata or Shonai. Overall, I felt it was disappointing for the price.
