We stopped in for lunch at the restaurant Yumekobo on our way to Kushiro National Park. The chalet style room had lovely big windows that gave a great view of the garden and forest. For lunch we had the beef stew, Japanese beef curry and salad. All were delicious. The curry was a real stand out. For desert we had chocolate cake and cheesecake. They were amazing. This has to be one of the best meals we’ve had during our stay in Japan. We could see the chef in the kitchen as we arrived, his wife, who served us said he made all the dishes and deserts. Definitely recommend stopping for lunch. A truly delicious meal at an affordable price. YUM!

宿全体の調度品のセンスが良くて落ち着く宿でした。夕食も朝食も美味しかったです。夕食の後のデザートはケーキショップも兼ねている宿なのでケーキのショーケースの中から好きなケーキを選んでいただきましたが、そのケーキもとても美味しかったです。ちなみに私はシマエナガのケーキを選びました。私が夫と宿泊した日は他に宿泊者がいなかったので食事もお風呂も静かにゆっくり楽しめました。お部屋の設備で気になったのは洗面所のお湯と水の蛇口から出る水の量が極端に少なかったことと部屋の灯が暗くてシニア世代の私達夫婦は目が疲れました。二人それぞれノートパソコンを持ち込んでいましたが、暗い室内ではパソコンもスマホ操作も目が疲れます。ダウンライトでお部屋の雰囲気は良くても今はスマホを室内で使わないお客さんはいないと思いますので、できれば電気スタンドを置いて欲しいです。
